hi guys
i guess i should intro this dude before i run off and eat things
(this is kay btw)

basically i've been thinking about how every time there's a new character i'm just like OH YEAH Z IS CALM AND SHE'LL GET ALONG WITH YOU and LAUREL IS LAUREL and i guess i just wanted to fling someone kinda difficult into the mix

list-form seems less imposing rn so here we go

- attended Ilvermorny as a Wampus; didn't get along with people at first but figured his shit out eventually, mostly out of spite. also calmed down a bit after he started gardening (it was soothing ok)

- from app: "arrogant, clever, judgmental, sensitive, rebellious, show-off, pretentious, insecure, loose cannon. Secret heart of gold, incredibly loyal, a little romantic. Wants to prove himself, also wants nothing to do with people." so basically he can kind of be a reckless, presumptuous asshole but once you've won him over he's surprisingly tolerable and fun and will be YOUR reckless, presumptuous asshole until the end of days

- skateboards! dreams of going pro. his first year at gooseberry he had a major accident just before arriving and ended up spending a few weeks drinking supplementary skelegro/other potions and going to magical physical therapy but OTHER THAN THAT HE'S TOTALLY ALREADY PRO (but is constantly scraping himself up doing stupid things and possessing zero self preservation)

- wants to be a poet! won't show anyone his writing! watches annoying pretentious films and pretends he knows what's going on! "this book is symbolic of the blah blah blah" ... should have taken wizard literature but thought he didn't "need" to (he is that kind of person)

- used to go by jonathan or jonny, is now going by WILDE thank you this is not a phase it is a legit adult choice (but jonny is still fine)

- ended the previous school year by getting in a serious fist fight with someone, which grounded him for the entire summer and now means his mom is being super annoying all the time about how well he's doing (any volunteers for whoever he fought with? their animosity can certainly continue)

- has an elder brother who he constantly feels inferior to, also an ebonhide (graduated several years ago)

- reserve keeper

- has a hedgehog who is nicer than he is (and can also do tricks!)

- archery club, dueling/fencing, outdoor exploration

HEY HEY HEY. Clem's also a junior Ebonhide, and she was also in Wampus at Ilvermorny, where she was also kind of a difficult kid. she tries to get along w all her quidditch teammates but I can definitely see the two of them having a long-standing animosity from their Ilvermorny days. or they could be exes! or friends! or any combination thereof! i'm totally open

And I gotta run to thanksgiving dinner but I'll be back w my other two soon

	perhaps a combination? i honestly could see him liking clem quite a bit in his weird way and not knowing how to handle it properly/being horrible in the process maybe they bicker and don't SUPER get along but since they've known eachother forever they kinda have eachother's backs idk -- we'll have to see how things look in play c: c: (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Coralee probably has the most overlap with Jonny, purely because they're in the same year, but I'm guessing they will clash? Etta is in Archery and OE with him, and may be more aware of him now that he's a Quidditch reserve. BECAUSE YOU GOTTA KEEP AN EYE ON THE COMPETITION. So I went on vacation right when you posted this so NOW I WILL RESPOND LATE.

Avery and Jon have a shitload of classes and clubs in common (most of the main classes + occlumency, outdoor exploration, dueling, and quiditch!) So they definitely have a TON of chances to interact. She probably finds him a bit abrasive but because she is so nice, she is just always good to him. She probably also likes those moments when his more calm or sensitive side shows and that makes her actually want to try and be his friend.

Penelope and him can bond over being reserves for NO GOOD REASON but aside from that - I think they might be too similar to really get along? She also hates people, and comes off really asshole-ish and stand-off ish. Aside from Quidditch they don't have anything in common though, seeing as she's a year above him. They COULD work but I'm really not sure!
