ANNOUNCEMENT: Plot Suggestions Dropbox
Hey everyone, we're opening up the Plot Suggestions Dropbox! We're almost two months into the game, and hopefully by now you've all gotten an idea of how we do things (and also been horribly godmodded by yours truly if you play an athlete). We're hard at work setting up the plot calendar for November, and we haven't run out of ideas yet, but if you want to help us keep this game going strong for the entire school year, please feel free to send us your suggestions. :)


These can be:

• Ideas for future events! This can be anything from big events with wide-ranging effects and consequences (love potion, ward failure, etc.), or small one-off events (weird occurrence with animals, someone is served a bizarre dish during dinner, etc.). These can be super mundane or super supernatural, we take it all! (With the supernatural events, we might have to twist them to fit the goals of our meta-plot, but we will be VERY APPRECIATIVE of any cool ideas you can offer.)


• Ideas for monthly bonding activities! (I hope all seniors are looking forward to next week!)


• Ideas for events specific to certain clubs or classes!


• Ideas for things you'd love to do with your character in the future! Maybe we can help create the opportunity for you. Maybe you'd love to see them question all their dearly-held beliefs about FOREST SAFETY. Maybe it would be cool/horrifying to have a parent-teacher conference so your character's family can see what they're up to all day at CAMPING SCHOOL. Maybe you'd like if the old classmates of your former Ilvermorny or Hogwarts student visit Utah to see how they're doing at this SNOOTY AMERICAN RICH KID GENIUS SCHOOL. (No promises, but these might be things we've been discussing!)


• If you play a Quidditch player or cheerleader, here's your chance to control the narrative during matches! We've tried to hit a compromise between trying to honour characters' personalities while also giving as many people as possible their "moment," but I'm sure I've messed up somewhere, so if you'd like, you can tell us what's going on with your character. What's their overall playstyle and strategies? Are they nervous about the next match, or are they confident about their chances? As cheer captain, are they working on a new routine, and what is it? As Quidditch captain, is there anything they're on the lookout for? Do they have any injuries or vendettas we should be aware of, going into the next match? The final results (and several of the match occurrences) are at the mercy of RNG, but we will try our best to make things exciting and as close to IC as possible.
