WANTED LINES MEME

Hey everyone! So, the game's been going at a nice clip for almost two months now, and relationships are starting to really form between all the characters. We wanted to give everyone an opportunity to discuss their character development, and talk about lines they might want to build with one another.

So if you want to participate, fill out the following with each of your characters, then comment around and talk about their relationships and how your characters could interact now or in the future!

Character Name: Casper Kim
House and Year: Ebonhide Junior
Classes: Charms, Hermeticism, History of Magic, Potions, Transfiguration, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Astronomy, Occlumency
Extracurriculars: Quidditch, Dueling & Fencing, Boating
Current State: Casper is furious about the so-called pranks and very tightly wound right at the moment. While the 'Lake Gooseberry Killer' would've been enough to get him angry all on his own, throw in the fact that the whole mess has had an impact on Katya and the fact that he's the one that found poor Briony Cabot and Casper's now on the verge of lashing out at everybody. He feels useless and wants to do anything he can to get things back to normal, but he's actually more likely to cause trouble with his current rash temperament than help.

Apart from that, Casper's in the early stages of flirtation with Katya Ivanova. Despite being very different people, he feels close to her because of their similar outlooks (though Katya's less open about her pessimism than Casper is) and shared misfortunes and he wants to protect her from everything. Which, of course, he can't. He knows that getting attached to her is a bad idea, but he also knows that he's doing it anyway. So much for the lone wolf act, Mr. Kim.

And Capser is finally taking Occlumency! ...and it's horrible. He's not great at it and it still gives him migraines when he practices for too long, but he's determined to make the grade. Even if he has to (ugh) ask for help.

Looking For: Casper doesn't have many friends or even many friendly acquaintences, largely because he's a jerk with a temper, but it would be good to expand his circle a little. Because his 'circle' is mostly Katya, Sy (for now -- he's about to be on Casper's shit list in the biggest way), Diego (kind of, for band reasons), and some members the Ebonhide Quidditch team. So, he could use friends and confidants, as well as people that just don't hate being around him. But he could also use some enemies because, really, he should probably have some. Apart from that, there's also an older student referenced in his history (currently a lady Ribbonfin, but this is flexible) that took him aside for a Talk after some particularly rough rumors and ostracism had him ready to blow up at the entire school. That was back during his freshman year. If that student is still at Gooseberry, they're probably one of the few people that he really trusts and that can really talk him down. So, I'd love that! Open for other things too, just let me know what you're looking for.
Anything Else: Nothing really. He still hates snakes (GET OUT OF HIS CABIN, SNAKES) and will still punch anyone that calls him a Dark wizard?

Casper likes (THE OTHER WORD IS TOO MUCH, HE CAN'T) you and your mundane little pranks and your overly enthusiastic self too, Solomon. Shhh. It's a secret.

Casper going to Chris for help with Occlumency would actually make a lot of sense, since he's a senior that Casper can actually take seriously/sort of respect/sort of get. Maybe Cas can reach out once everything settles down and he's not ready to go on a rampage?

	He and Nia prefect together - so there's that! And she wouldn't be put off by his temper. Not after a while, at least. She would have been quiet for a bit, but she'd have gotten over it once she realized that he didn't personally hate her guts. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Yeah, Casper's attitude is definitely not aimed at anybody (until some shit goes down), that's just how he is. If Nia can gets that, they're probably fine and I could see them bonding some over the last two years as prefects. They've got similar approaches to rules, though he's less of a soft touch and more of a 'look, I don't give a fuck' unless it comes to people causing actual harm. He also appreciates that her sweetness goes right out the window for people that've caused their own problems (re: hangovers and the like).

So that's something!
