WANTED LINES MEME

Hey everyone! So, the game's been going at a nice clip for almost two months now, and relationships are starting to really form between all the characters. We wanted to give everyone an opportunity to discuss their character development, and talk about lines they might want to build with one another.

So if you want to participate, fill out the following with each of your characters, then comment around and talk about their relationships and how your characters could interact now or in the future!

OK I'm going to be slow about this bc I'm bogged down at work and fighting off a cold, but I am v v v excited about this meme~~~

Character Name: Sylvester Stoker
House and Year: Coppertale junior
Classes: Charms, Outdoor Education, Transfiguration; Aesthetic Magic, Artificing, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Magizoology
Extracurriculars: Quidditch (Captain & Chaser), Archery, Boating, Gaming, Outdoor Exploration. Was in Duelling last year until he was kicked out for punching Calvin, but he wants to get back in. (SPOILER: It's not going to happen.)

Current State: I've been neglecting Sy lately but I want to play him more, especially with Quidditch this weekend and the killer plot amping up. He's been a shit but he is ON NOTICE by Vector to not step out of line, after getting reported for some of his bullying antics. Obviously, HE'S FUCKING THAT UP THIS MONTH. I apologize to Dom and all our intrepid prefects because Sy has plot armour and can't be caught yet (would you believe that I honestly did not think people would get this upset when I was planning this in August), but he's definitely been trying to avoid when Rafael or Tess is out on patrol, and things will slow down as he focuses on Quidditch. Sy is definitely FACING CONSEQUENCES at the end of October, which may also change some of his relationships. WE'LL SEE.

Looking For: I reached this and realized I'm not actually in need of friends OR enemies for Sy, but an ex could be interesting? Sy likes girls but struggles with dating due to being VERY asexual (anything he's ever said about you being hot or bangable is an overcompensating lie), and I always wanted a sophomore year ex-girlfriend whom Sy seemed to REALLY LIKE until he suddenly dropped you like a hot potato with no warning. Aside from that, I'm totally open to talking about how you see your character's current relationship with Sy bc I'd like to get a better handle on Sy and play him more. c:

Anything Else: Currently I'd say Sy's "people" are Rosy and the Coppertale Quidditch team (Reid and Faye are his favourites, possibly Roxie too if we get a new Roxie). They might argue constantly (or rather, Sy yells at him and Reid is like ugh) but Reid really is Sy's best friend, and he and Rosy are the only people Sy might be willing to talk feelings with, if he wants to acknowledge he has feelings, which is never. (OH AND ALSO his "cousin" but God he really doesn't want to talk feelings with Diego.) He's not "close" to a lot of people, but off the top of my head, other people Sy really likes (in his year) are... Casper, Ursula, probably Harriet and Coralee, Dom, Clementine, Sybilla, Katya, Riley, Addy? Man, Sy REALLY has a problem with forming friendly relationships with guys.

	Rosy is going to kill you at the end of this month, Sy. She is also NEVER GOING TO ADMIT IT, but she's also impressed with this stupid prank, GODDAMMIT. Riley is going to YELL A LOT AT HIM FOR SCARING KATYA LIKE THAT WTF, but she also loves him. Who else has a name that's so easy to rhyme with things? HE'S HER SY PIE GUY! 	i don't know if i can volunteer laurel as an EX ex (maybe??) but i can volunteer her as someone who had a weird crush on him and maybe there was the hint of a thing but thennnnn no? but IF NOT then ahhhh i would love this??? I really need to hit up Laurel more but I definitely see Sy liking her; she's funny and very blunt, which is usually a good mix with Sy. I'd totally be open to going the ex route (it can be something as simple as... dated for a few weeks before ending very suddenly), or keeping it to an almost-flirtation (something that seemed like a mutual crush, maybe hanging out in a way that seemed like a date, then out of nowhere he just stops talking to her). Which would you prefer??

I imagine Sy would be friendly with her now and still kind of flirts because he... can be insensitive. He is terrible at figuring out relationships, but usually if he likes someone, he'll stay friendly with them no matter what. :o

i could see a few weeks! i feel like laurel is kind of unsure/weird about dating and what's actually up with all that for her, so she wouldn't really be in a place for anything more than that anyway, probably. c: so either, really. ♥ maybe a little bit of both? haha.

she would have been THROWN about suddenly being dumped, though. like WHAT?? I MIGHT NOT KNOW WTF I'M DOING BUT WHAT???

buuuut yeah! because it's laurel after that little period of anger/vindictiveness she's probably pretty cool with him at this point, honestly. even flirts back sometimes because whatever (though of course moments of why do you do this why are you like this!)

	Sylla and Sy are the weirdest friends but it amuses me to no end, it really probably started with her just SO FASCINATED BY HOW MEAN HE COULD GET and I love that. I'm terrible. MADELINE I apologize for taking so long to get back to this but OH MY GOD I'm glad you like them because Sylla and Sy is my favourite ever weird pair. I'm sad I've been too frazzled to get any interaction with Sylla lately, but it just endlessly cracks me up how she'll happily roll with all the terrible brutish things he says. Sy is fascinated with her too, like he doesn't always get all that morbid or ~deep~ stuff but he likes that Sylla talks to him about it? He's TRYING to understand her Gothic Barbie ways. They are just so ODD and unexpected and I keep hunting for an opportunity to talk to her because i ADORE Sylla

god if life doesn't slow down for me soon maybe i should just have Sy ask her to the halloween dance out of nowhere

	pretty sure robin is wile e coyote, and he sets up snares and like traps that spray you in the face or trap your foot or something (RAFAEL PROBABLY TOLD HIM HE WASN'T ALLOWED TO SET UP BEAR TRAPS ANYMORE SO NO ONE HAS TO CHEW OFF THEIR FOOT DAMMIT). i'm sure they work like 60% of the time. LMAO THAT IS NOT AN UNREASONABLE CONCLUSION TO REACH, sy is so textbook "jock who is overcompensating masculinity" that i'm sure lots of people have wondered this about him. although sy is really not gay??? he made out with a bunch of dudes during spin the bottle and it was just like

😕 he liked it about as much as making out with girls, which is NOT VERY MUCH AT ALL. or honestly even less because all of the guys he made with are assholes??? SY HAS ALSO WONDERED IF HE'S GAY. THE ANSWER IS NO CLEARER TO HIM.
