WANTED LINES MEME

Hey everyone! So, the game's been going at a nice clip for almost two months now, and relationships are starting to really form between all the characters. We wanted to give everyone an opportunity to discuss their character development, and talk about lines they might want to build with one another.

So if you want to participate, fill out the following with each of your characters, then comment around and talk about their relationships and how your characters could interact now or in the future!

Character Name: Addy Foster-Hayes! House and Year: Azurcrest Junior! Classes: Potions, Charms, Herbology, Magic Lit, astronomy, Physical Education Extracurriculars: Outdoor Adventure, Equestrian Current State: As far as changes from last year, the biggest thing is obviously that she's not as big a slutbasket as she has literally always been, so feel free to notice this! Otherwise she's up to all her old tricks aka loving on people, ignoring other ones, generally getting in trouble etc etc. She's actually been much more well behaved than she generally is so far, minus skipping class which she hardly counts anymore. She will probably blow that all by the end of the month when she poisons the school with alcohol... She also is full time shipping the entire Acrest senior boys dorm and wants to step in and Oprah the entire situation but has tact and will not. Looking For: FORMER HOOKUPS IN ALL CAPACITIES? Read back to converted slutbasket. She's happily monogamous with Jonny now and has a couple played flings but she still adores them both. It'd be fun to tie in people who are not friends with her after she darted away inevitably, because actions have consequences, Addy! And in the same vein... PEOPLE/FRIENDS WHO SHE'S GROWN AWAY FROM? She does have that vvvvv flighty tendency and I'm sure more people exist than I'm seeing who are not impressed by it ADOPTEES?? k not literally but she loves taking people under her wing and does a pretty good job at nurturing them, even. Need not be younger to apply; she will love on people of all ages and pretend like she's older. 	Uh so chris is kinda a slut too? He's a low key slut. Could be former hook up in the very literal sense of the word because they're not super close as friends? But he's a big fan of literally just hooking up. And she should adopt Solomon! He has the perfect disposition for it okay. And I love your pb, I just want more things with you, basically. Character Name: Casper Kim House and Year: Ebonhide Junior Classes: Charms, Hermeticism, History of Magic, Potions, Transfiguration, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Astronomy, Occlumency Extracurriculars: Quidditch, Dueling & Fencing, Boating Current State: Casper is furious about the so-called pranks and very tightly wound right at the moment. While the 'Lake Gooseberry Killer' would've been enough to get him angry all on his own, throw in the fact that the whole mess has had an impact on Katya and the fact that he's the one that found poor Briony Cabot and Casper's now on the verge of lashing out at everybody. He feels useless and wants to do anything he can to get things back to normal, but he's actually more likely to cause trouble with his current rash temperament than help. Apart from that, Casper's in the early stages of flirtation with Katya Ivanova. Despite being very different people, he feels close to her because of their similar outlooks (though Katya's less open about her pessimism than Casper is) and shared misfortunes and he wants to protect her from everything. Which, of course, he can't. He knows that getting attached to her is a bad idea, but he also knows that he's doing it anyway. So much for the lone wolf act, Mr. Kim. And Capser is finally taking Occlumency! ...and it's horrible. He's not great at it and it still gives him migraines when he practices for too long, but he's determined to make the grade. Even if he has to (ugh) ask for help. Looking For: Casper doesn't have many friends or even many friendly acquaintences, largely because he's a jerk with a temper, but it would be good to expand his circle a little. Because his 'circle' is mostly Katya, Sy (for now -- he's about to be on Casper's shit list in the biggest way), Diego (kind of, for band reasons), and some members the Ebonhide Quidditch team. So, he could use friends and confidants, as well as people that just don't hate being around him. But he could also use some enemies because, really, he should probably have some. Apart from that, there's also an older student referenced in his history (currently a lady Ribbonfin, but this is flexible) that took him aside for a Talk after some particularly rough rumors and ostracism had him ready to blow up at the entire school. That was back during his freshman year. If that student is still at Gooseberry, they're probably one of the few people that he really trusts and that can really talk him down. So, I'd love that! Open for other things too, just let me know what you're looking for. Anything Else: Nothing really. Character Name: Faye Turner House and Year: Senior Coppertale Classes: Charms, History of Magic, Potions, Artificing, Astronomy, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Magical Rudiments Extracurriculars: Coppertale Quidditch (chaser) since sophomore year (reserve freshman year), Archery, Boating, Choir, Dueling and Fencing Current State: Honestly, I have not been around much lately so character development has not been a thing that's happened. Nothing's really going on with her except she's got a Quidditch match coming up. Apparently she sleeps in the empty beds of people who've gone on camping trips. Looking For: SERIOUSLY ANYTHING? Due to the aforementioned Not Being Around, I basically know... she's friends with Tess, Trixie, Chris, Reid and Sy. That's all I know, just the old Quidditch team members and her played roommates. I have no idea what her history is with anyone else or how she interacts with them. Thankfully she's a very confident person so I can sort of bumble around and have her just Be Confident all over the place but I'd really like a little more actual knowledge of what relationships she has. She went camping and I need to figure out how the heck that went for her since I was gone over the weekend myself. (Though I think everyone's pretty much moved on by now idk) I think she's getting a little more creeped out by things lately, what with all that and with the ongoing log with Zoey. Looking For: Bailey's sort of awkward so I don't have the benefit of being able to move forward with confidence like with Faye. I could really really use some relationships with her, they don't have to be super bright and chipper BFFs sort of relationships but I pretty much just know that she's friends with Kurt. That's basically it and it's my fault for practically vanishing for weeks. But I need to do something about it and I would really appreciate help. She is awkward and says things without realizing they could be taken as rude, so it's very likely she's offended one of your characters without realizing it, and if she DID realize it afterward she felt really bad but extra-shy and awkward about it. She definitely does not have any exes. She may have enemies, friends, or study buddies. Maybe someone wants to give her a makeover. HALP. Extracurriculars: Boating, Drama, Choir, Outdoor Exploration Current State: NOT A HAPPY CAMPER. Quite literally. What, with his roommates saying he got probed by aliens and then feeling really urgent about whatever he encountered in the woods but more important things happening and the LGK drama and not really knowing what to do? He is definitely not himself and kind of withdrawing and doesn't even know where to start, because how do you start to say "glad that's getting handled, so. . .I think I was visited by demons in the woods???" FUN STUFF, Y'ALL. He's trying to shrug it off for the time being and stay in his lane, but nope. He's off. Looking For: Rafael is probably his closest friend, followed by Diego, but other than that he's pretty much open for anything! I think he has very few deep friendships and more shallow, flirtatious girl "friends" but that may be starting to change soon also after certain happenings on the camping trip. IT'S A VICIOUS CYCLE, THAT REPUTATION THING. But he's also a judgmental bitch who likes to see people's pratfalls and enables bad decisions while smirking innocently so yeah, he's a piece of work. Character Name: Cole Moss House and Year: Ribbonfin Sophomore Classes: Charms, Herbology, Hermeticism, Potions, Transfiguration, Aesthetic Magic, Artificing, Astronomy, Defense Against the Dark Arts Extracurriculars: Drama (Crew Only), but he could be convinced to try others Current State: Cole is Cole. He's aware that some Strange Stuff is going on, but it's kind of peripheral for him and he's mostly focused on his art and living in his own world. The school hasn't burned down yet and he might not even notice if it did. The only hiccup for him recently was the sophomore bonding event, where he utterly failed poor Pippa and then proceeded to convince himself that she was TOTALLY MAD AT HIM. He avoided her for days, but she's set the record straight in a log that's in progress and so he's happy as a clam again. He's excited for Halloween, but mostly because of the costumes and the makeup, and will likely start putting together something needlessly elaborate very soon. Looking For: Cole doesn't have many close connections. He's close/known-you-forever friends with Micah and artsy/known-you-forever friends with Ree, he trusts Ravi, and he thinks Zoey is THE BEST ART-SENPAI. Everyone in Drama gets automatic cred with him too. But that's about all. I'd like him to get to know people better and form some closer connections, though that's difficult for him and will likely be a bit of work for anyone that wants to try. Also fun: Ribbonfin sophomores in general, people that will get him involved in clubs, artistic collaborators, people that want to improve his work ethic/help him 'fulfill his potential', people that want to punch him because he never tries and is still overly good at things, people that tease him about his hot stepmom? Character Name: Trixie Armstrong House and Year: Coppertale Senior Classes: Charms, Outdoor Education, Transfiguration, Aesthetic Magic, Artificing, Magizoology Extracurriculars: Gaming, Drama, LARP, Outdoor Exploration and Cheer Current State: Trixie has started to go a little more toward being a tad insane when it comes to her evil schemes. It isn't that she wants to kill everyone or is some sort of dictator, she just really wants to make cool inventions and use it to take over the world. She's been threatening people with her dungeon (which isn't as creepy as it seems), making traps with Robin around camp and generally just being her weird self. Most recently she's been carting around a tiny little jumble of gears and batteries, holding it up to her ear and talking for a few seconds before making a face and fiddling with it again. Her senior project is to help disabled kids become somewhat normal with the use of science and magic. It's sort of going well. Looking For: She needs minions, no joke. She would love to have a little group of people she can plot with and joke around with but you know she will totally betray you in the end. Essentially, she was met with oppressive loneliness and is wondering about why she feels so set on showing this really fake face to people. It won't stop, anytime soon (because it's so engrained in her), but she's thinking about it and stressing about it a little. This is probably not going to be too visible to characters IC. Big projects in her future: THE HALLOWEEN DANCE!!! I'm busy with school and personally terrible at organization, but it's within Cricket's character to be very involved with event committee stuff. She won't butt heads with Mina, but I imagine she's doing a lot of busy work. COSTUME CRAFTING NIGHT: I think we have it plotted for the 22nd. Not sure if we want to do it as a IC/OCC thread or just ~say it happened~ For Cricket's sake, I would like to skate along and not mention Wes, but... gotta mention it. She is currently grappling with whether or not she is having heart feelings or vagina feelings for him. Sorry in advance if your character flirts with Wes and I jump in with 1000000 blank comments of various Cricket face emotions. Which brings me to... FINDING THE DEMONS IN THE WOODS: She is concerned about what happened to Wes on the OE trip and will be quietly investigating. She's kinda spooked, so this won't involve vigilantism, rather mostly just asking questions on the journals and stuff. Looking For: I feel very fortunate that Cricket has been greeted so warmly by all your characters! I'm not looking for too much. I would like for her to have maybe one past semi-serious/regular fling, because I just think that's the kind of girl that she is. This doesn't need to amount to more than someone she made out with a couple times and then things just didn't jive anymore. If you are struggling with a shy character, throw them at Cricket! She will harass them! Anything Else: For characters that are close to her, Cricket has panic attacks from time to time. Current State: Is it weird that this whole serial killer prank fiasco has kind of grounded her again? The pressure of senior year very nearly instantly buckled her when school started, but she's been doing okay this month. THE SCHOOL-WIDE MELTDOWN IS SIPHONING HER STRESS. But really, she's good for emotional support, so everyone else being agitated and worried has been a windfall for her, and given her something positive to do with her nervous energy.
