Yeah, existing!

Hi this is Jackie and I am an actual real person that exists and does things. (And I am totally catching up on intros. So many open tabs. Powering through, hells yeah!) But, yes. New character. The long, drawn out version is here. So summarizing instead

• Anthonia Papadakis, Ebonhide Junior, Prefect
• Was placed in the foster care system at birth and adopted by an older couple when she was six. Kostas is a tailor (so if you're on the East Coast, he's well known for his robes and formal wear) and Sula's a Seer (for her own amusement). And they're basically a very happily married VERY GREEK Statler and Waldorf.
• They're both old-money Purebloods - so anybody who's anybody would know of them. And would also know that they're horrible at high society and are most definitely the people that Get Whispered About. Nia's no exception. (There were several rumors about her being a member of muggle gangs/planning to kill off her grandparents for the inheritance at her last school.)
• Honestly, though? Nia's very quiet until you get to know her and has little to no plans of murdering anyone. A Very Professional Prefect (and occasional pushover) who is overprotective of the younger students and will adopt you and tut disapprovingly over your poor behavior.
• She's in Choir, Equestrian, and Outdoor Exploration. Is taking Divination. (Mostly to please her Yaya.) And loves Herbology.
• And, MOST IMPORTANTLY, there is Butter. Who follows people around and begs for food and wants you to carry him like a baby. Love him. Love him and give him cookies.

But PLEASE GIVE ME ALL THE THINGS. Friends! People who she has blinked at in a highly unimpressed manner and dragged around by their ear. People that've got her number on being an epic pushover. High society people that are unimpressed with her/she is unimpressed with. All the things! Please. ♥

OK SO CHARACTER TIME

1. NATE. Nate is senior Ebonhide prefect! HI, WE DO ROUNDS TOGETHER, we have to manage these unruly freshmen together.

2. Riley. Is a pain in the ass. Will be a total pain in the ass at you sry.

3. Rosy is west coast society (her dad is the LA MACUSA rep, her mom is high society lady), but they are super image conscious people and probably did plenty of whispering about the Papadakis fam. Which probably made Rosy predisposed to like her because fuck the man. Also Rosy is another junior prefect (and overprotective of her bbs too)! And in equestrian and choir! SO BASICALLY I CALL FRIENDS.

4. AND OF COURSE ROBIN. Who will like her as long as she doesn't take it personally when he's an ass, because he tries not to take it personally when people are butts.

3. YES PLEASE. Nia was probably incredibly excited to find people who knew who her grandparents were/didn't loathe them on principle. And Rosy's just generally awesome, so. Bonus.

1. Uh I'm not actually sure how Chris feels about her? He prolly detested her at first but by now I feel like he prolly respects her a bit because she's not and stuck up snob

2. Solomon is a sophomore ebonhide and the nicest guy ever. He'll be quite fond of her - and he was also adopted as a baby by old people so kinda twinsies lol? But Solomon will adore her so it's okay.

1. Then yeah, since she's already a junior, Chris has gotten over that first impression and it's probably super chill with her. Plus he's not much of a trouble maker anyway, so it's okay. She doesn't have to be a softie with him.

2. (Solomon just wants to have fun, nice, pretty pranks okay, where nobody gets hurt) I wish he was more likely to actually have shit that he needed to get away with. But he's just like a legit good kid. But Nia can adopt him anyway, it's okay.

SOOOOO...

Diego is eternally messing up, but also eternally apologizing. He's trying to Be Better but I'm sure Anthonia has needed to scold him from time to time. His family is also old money pureblood, and while Ofelia Morales doesn't revel in the scandal as much, she did ruffle some feathers settling down with a woman. And then divorced. And then married another woman. She's an art dealer and so may have crossed paths with Nia's family professionally, whether she was purchasing fancy clothes or the Papadakis family needed some cool art.

Reid is in her year, and he's awwwwwkwarddddd. It sounds like he and Nia would have a hard time getting to know one another, but we'll see!

Calvin was a Bad Child last year, but now he's an Okay Child. He gets bullied by Sy Stoker, and whether Nia turns a blind eye to that or not is going to influence if Calvin loves her or just kind of stays out of her way.

Rafael is inclined to love all the prefects, even if he's really hard on them sometimes. He'll like that Nia is professional, but might get on her case for being a pushover. He's going to Post A Thing relevant to prefects today.

It's okay, Diego. She sighs. But it is a mostly affectionate sighing. Her grandparents have reached the age where they have zero fucks left to give. It's liberating. And embarrassing. All at once. But they probably have Hella Art all over their weird apartment and would be extra supportive if other people were being shitheads. So she can definitely know who they are that way.

Yes, we'll see what happens! They can mutually be quiet in the same place.

Nia would not let that fly where she can see it. Bullying isn't okay. Even when it comes to Bad Children.

She just doesn't like making small people Actually Sad, Rafael. Ebonhide's got Casper to surly cop. So sometimes she gets to mom cop. And let them get away with certain things while guilt-tripping the hell out of them on others. (As someone with a Greek grandmother, I can promise that this is an area in which they excel.)

	Oooooh I have connections! Tabitha is north east high society, though not a snob. She would at least know of her parents? Will won't know her. But you can't have em all! Joanna is the sophomore Ebonhide prefect, so they probably work together? Dominic is the same year, different house, prefect. Probably have classes together too? (Reply to this)

zoey and anthonia have Divination in common, alsooooo z is from NY and definitely knows of the Papadakis fam & their various endeavors.

laurel has old money pureblood fam as well, though they're on the west coast (which i'm sure makes no actual difference). her dad is not exactly a shining example of high society either, and even his parents give him crap about who he ended up marrying, so -- idk, maybe she could empathize with anthonia on this level ♥

	Pippa is in Choir with Nia, and likes knowing who the nice/approachable prefects are, so she'll be friendly! She won't feed Butter treats, though, because squirrels shouldn't eat human food. :( Etta will know her from Outdoor Exploration, but apart from that I don't think they have much overlap? I think she'd get on okay with Nia though! (Reply to this)
