GENERAL INFO
► KEEP IC & OOC SEPERATE. If we have to speak to a writer more than twice about something there is the possibility of being removed.
►Update limit is FOUR WEEKS. You can comment for an extension or hiatus if needed; once a journal reaches SIX WEEKS without an update it will be removed with the next round of additions & removals. Updates must be at least one paragraph long and must be original writing in some way (for example you can’t post lyrics). One liners will not be accepted for updates. Placeholders are not allowed and the update must be visible. Basically we need to see that you are active.
►If you go on hiatus, you must wait one month after returning before holding or apping another character. Again, we just want to make sure that you are active.
►Everyone needs an extension from time to time, but if we see it happening consistently, then we reserve the right to refuse.
►Holds are for one week, after that one week you must app or lose the hold. If you need an extension, we will give you 3 additional days at which point you must app or lose the hold. You will only be given one extension. After that extension, you must wait one week before putting in another hold.
► Please, put all pictures and videos behind a lj-cut.
CHARACTERS
Characters can range from musicians, artists, writers, directors, publicists, agents, paparazzi, journalists, actors, and actresses - anything having to do with the entertainment industry. We do not accept family members or friends of celebrities unless they are also famous.
Credits
Be realistic when going through your characters credits. If your credits are unrealistic, we will ask you to revise them.
Pregnancies, abortions, and adoptions have to be cleared by the moderators before going into play, and have to be agreed upon by both writing partners. One baby per writer (both the male and female) at a time, no more then 2 per month. We do reserve the right to freeze and or cap them should we get overrun.
The death of a character also has to be approved by moderators. If it is approved we will retire the PB, eight of their film roles, and their music claims. Retired characters are listed in the In Memoriam section of the appropriate taken lists.
THERE IS A CHARACTER LIMIT OF SIX PER WRITER
SINGING & VOCAL CLAIMS
If your character is a singer they should claim a singing voice and/or lyrical claim. They get one claim for voice & two for lyrics (i.e. singing voice: Christina Aguilera; lyrics: P!nk & Fiona Apple); they automatically get to claim the lyrics of their singing voice as well.
The only exception is when the musician of a claim has more than one band (i.e. if someone claimed Conor Oberst they would get Norman Bailer, Commander Venus, The Magnetas, Park Ave., Bright Eyes, Desaparecidos, Conor Oberst & the Mystic Valley Band, Monsters of Folk, etc.)
