Another meme!
Another meme! Sorry it's so close to the last one. I was thinking about this the other day as I realised I still listen to songs from the may02 soundtrack. Then this morning IJ was down so I was pratting about on youtube...

1) I've chosen this particular video of it because this is what Mel wants the ICW to be like: 17 Jean Vanjeans (fast forward to 1 minute and a half to see them actually sing)
But if you don't know Les Mis and want to hear it sung in English with lyrics: Just one Jean Vanjean

2)Every Seize the Day song ever makes me think of Mel because um, activist folk music. But I'll go with this one: I swear

3)And of course, everyone's favourite feminist song (it is also, in my head, the theme song for Hilary Clinton's election campaign)

I was actually listening to the Trainspotting soundtrack earlier and it reminded me of that bit where Renton says "Some people hate the English. I don't. They're just wankers. So the second one is a funky tune, but I am disappointed that the chick in it just wandered round in a bikini rather than, you know, surfing.

This is my surfing song for Tiago. This is what I used to sing when I went bodyboarding as a kid. Or, you know, mumble along until the chorus. Oh! Since it says everyone's learning how, we should have it for Tiago teaching Barney :-)

	I was listening to my music folder on shuffle and discovered a good song. At first I though it could work for Tiago because of the title/chorus ("se a vida é" is Portuguese for "if life is") but paying more attention to the lyrics made me see it fits Samir even better. Late to the game, got distracted by internet videos myself, this weekend. <<

The Goldfish Song (Kina Grannis) is my official Marietta song though it doesn't really fit her yet. But a little.

The Best Day (Taylor Swift) makes me think of the relationship Mare has with her mum.

Ice Cream (Christopher Dale) for...obvious reasons.

I'll stop with that but more suggestions are always welcome.
