Hi everyone! So I'm Taryn and I bring with me Mr. Henry Latimer, family man and aspiring broommaker. He's a seventh year prefect who played Quidditch in his fourth, fifth and sixth years. He's super friendly and has an open, big heart. He hates seeing people lonely and tries to make everyone feel included. He's every muggle health teacher's dream student basically. :P

I'm so happy to be here and I'm excited to start playing Henry. BRING IT!

Yay, welcome to the game! I'm Patricia and I'm the mod here, so if you ever have any question or need anything, don't hesitate to ask. :)

I have five kids here, some of whom Henry will know in one way or another:

Firstly, there's Cormac McLaggen (

myownfanclub), fifth year Gryffindor. He's loud, childish, immature, obsessed with girls, Quidditch and his own awesome self (well, awesome in his own eyes, that is), but underneath all his braggart ways he's just an old softie. He's trying to rebel from his purist family but is failing terribly at it so far.

Then there's Hamish Fraser (

notahamster), sixth year Ravenclaw and the Keeper for his house's team, so Henry will know him from playing against him. He's a thick-accented, gruff-speaking, kilt-wearing Scot who, in spite of appearances, is actually very sweet and girl-shy. He's the identical twin of Cassius Warrington from Slytherin (they were separated at birth by their purist grandparents and only met at Hogwarts) but it's not hard to tell them apart since they actually prefer to accentuate their differences.

There's also Samir Karim (

littlepharaoh), sixth year Hufflepuff. He's a muggle-born from the posh part of London, but he's not stuck-up in the least. He's now living with his friend Barney's family, as his parents kicked him out after he came out, but he's trying to fight any negative feelings about it by putting all his energy in all the artistically-inclined clubs (besides being housemates, Henry will be in Book Club with him) and by mothering his friends and housemates. He's very loud and hyper and likes to write in CAPITAL LETTERS when he's excited, which some people find a little intimidating. Also, since Cedric is one of his best friends he'll be Team Diggory all the way, but he'll still be nice to the other champions and their supporters in his loud, inimitable way.

There's Zoe Wagtail (this journal), fifth year Hufflepuff prefect. She's the baby sister of Myron Wagtail (lead singer of the Weird Sisters), but unlike her brother she's responsible and no-nonsense. She looks and acts cute and sweet, but cross her at her own peril. Hers is a fiery temper, and it's only her attachment to her shiny new badge that stops her from following the Alastor Moody School of Punishment - that, and not knowing how to turn humans into ferrets yet. Because of this, sometimes she'll stick to mocking them mercilessly instead.

And finally, there's Tiago Delgado (lj user="surfistinha">), seventh year Beauxbatons student who hails from Portugal. He's friendly, sweet, nice, and someone you can always count on to see things from a calmer perspective. He's a bit of a jock, as he not only plays Seeker in one of Beauxbatons' Quidditch teams, but also enjoys surfing and playing football with his muggle friends back home. He's also a known pot smoker (though he was never caught red handed), which might explain his calmness at times.

@Cormac: Not sure if they'd know each other, but if they did I think Henry would be like, "aw he's just a kid, he'll find his way." Even though the age difference isn't that huge, I think he'd just generally think Cormac was just at the point where he's coming into his own.

@Hamish: I think Henry would really like Hamish and would totally chill with him on occasion. Since he's not the most competitive Quidditch player, I can see him liking to make friends with the other students on the other teams. At the very least, he'd be his super friendly self.

@Samir: I really think that Henry loves Samir and I think they could get on really well. Of course Henry is team Cedric, too, because Hufflepuff love and all that good stuff. (This is not to say he's anti-Harry, though, he just has no clue what's up there.) Anyway, I think he'd love Samir's energy, think he's fun to be around and like that they're both really caring people.

@Zoe: I suppose they'd know each other at least sort of, too? Just because being prefects and all. I think Henry would be really wary of pissing her off, but also be playful with her like he normally is. I don't see him changing himself too much to make people like him but I know he does not actively seek out tension either.

@Tiago: I don't know if they'd know each other necessarily, although Henry has definitely been one to reach out to the students from the other schools because he hates the idea that they might feel awkward and out of place at Hogwarts.

Hamish is only competitive on the pitch (and with Cass outside of it, but that's sibling rivalry more than anything else), so he's all for chilling with Henry.

Sounds good with Samir! Oh, and by the way, he's always getting into the kitchens and asking for food (to the point that he's given them some recipes of Egyptian desserts) so that's something else he and Henry can bond over.

Zoe has no problem with playful people, so I can see them getting along just fine.

Hi Taryn! I'm sorry we didn't get the chance to talk much earlier, because sadly, my messenger system appears to have gone to pot. We can try and rectify that! I have five kiddos here -

This gal is Larissa Samuels, R6. BFF of Hamish up there ^^. Sucks at flying but loves Quidditch, and wants to go into sports healing after school. Has an Afrikaner mother and speaks with a South African accent, as her English died died a few years ago.

~victoriaregina is Vicky Frobisher, G6. Charms Club president and wannabe Keeper. Wants to be involved in everything. Dating Alessio from Beauxbatons.

~argentumvir is Leon Beery, R7. Head Boy, so he'll know Henry from meetings as well as classes. Wants to be an actor after Hogwarts. Very laid back and usually doesn't bother people for minor infractions, unless they're being an idiot about it.

~manofauthority is Anzelm Szczepanski of Durmstrang. 18, Polish, pureblood but most definitely a blood traitor, he and his little brother (also in the delegation) take great pleasure in being a thorn in the side of Karkaroff's. May know him from classes?

Finally, there's Anais, who I think you've read already?

No worries! Shit happens, man. I definitely get that. I'm so excited to plot/scene with you, though!

@Larissa: Maybe they know each other through Hamish? I think he'd love her to be honest. He's not the fairest flier either and wants to be a broommaker so I could see them getting along and sharing feels. She's also super cute so maybe he had a crush on her at some point?

@Vicky: Not sure if they'd know each other, but he'd definitely respect her ambitiousness to be involved because he's like, "lol if it's too hard I got other shit to worry about."

@Leon: I could see them being very friendly and of course Henry was super excited for him when he got Head Boy, especially because I don't think he wanted the position very much himself.

@Anzelm: They could definitely know each other! I think he'd be amused by Anzelm.

@Anais: HENRY IS SO. SMITTEN. He thinks she's the bees knees. Reading her bio, after I had an idea of who Henry was, I thought they'd get along so well and I was glad I didn't have to change anything about him to make sure they were compatible. He just likes how fierce she is and thinks the French thing is kind of hot, tbh. Plus, she's French Canadian and that's cooler because it's another continent and stuff. I think he finds her really exciting and different and because of this, he was especially keen on being friendly with her in Muggle Studies. He also wanted to make sure a pretty girl like her was feeling good at Hogwarts. He got special dress robes for the Yule Ball and has been trying to court her like a proper gentleman. :3

Re Larissa: She would definitely appreciate talking to people who enjoy Quidditch but who aren't OMG I WANNA GO PRO. She did internships over the summer with one of the South African quidditch teams and she definitely gets more excited with behind the scenes stuff. I think they'd get on!

Re Leon: Most of the school thought Flitwick and Dumbledore were trolling the school when he was made prefect, let alone Head Boy, so he'd be glad that *someone* was pleased for him! XD

Re Anais: Aww, Henry! That's too cute. <3 She approves of the idea of being Quebecoise being cooler because she says IT SO IS, DAMMIT. Ha ha. I think she'd appreciate the good manners and stuff with the way he acts towards her, because she says she has way too much to consider without dealing with stupid boys on top of it ;)

Larissa: Okay, that's perfect! I think Henry would love that too because all the Quidditch dudes who wanna go pro are like shfvhsdvfdghsa and Henry's like, "I just wanna make broomsticks..." We should definitely scene!

Leon: HAHA well Henry's the kind of guy who'd be like, "Omg guys shut up he got the position so calm yo tits."

Anais: He's gonna be super like... I guess uncharacteristically nervous around her because he doesn't want to mess it up because she's really something.

Yayyyy!

Hi, I'm Alison and I play a billion million people. Well, five. I have Barney, Luke, Lee, Mel, Yakov and Valentina. They all have usernames exactly as unimaginative as this one. You know you want to hear all about them, right? Well, luckily for you I don't care about my job, so let's go.

Barney Dunstan is a sixth year Hufflepuff and was the Keeper for their Quidditch team, so I imagine he will know Henry pretty well :-) Barney is also super friendly and sporty and he's very bouncy and enthusiastic. His best friends are Cedric and Samir (only Cedric's quietness could balance out the other two, haha) but he will talk to absolutely anybody and everybody. He has a tendency to talk in run on sentences and use non-sequitors which can make him hard to follow sometimes. Coupled with the fact he's very loud and not that bright and there are plenty of people who can't stand to be around him, although very few actively dislike him. He wants to be friends! He's team Cedric all the way, although he seems to have calmed down a bit about Harry and his fans, and is actually talking to some of the Gryffindors again.

Luke Hammonds is a 7th year Ravenclaw who will know Henry from classes. Luke is a quiet and slightly socially awkward geeky muggle-born obsessed with Star Wars (his real name isn't Luke, but he chooses to use his middle name because he thinks it's awesome). He's very smart but doesn't ever put his hand up in class because he's scared of bullies. He probably won't know Henry that well because he's so quiet, but I can see Henry being friendly anyway, and Luke will talk back, albeit hesitantly. Luke supports both Hogwarts champions.

Lee Jordan is a 6th year Gryffindor. Henry will know him as Quidditch commentator and mischief-insitgator extraordinaire. As well as Quidditch and pranks, Lee also loves girls and spiders. He has a pet tarantula, but not a girlfriend, alas. I imagine he will like Henry well enough and respects his Quidditch abilities. He generally likes Hufflepuffs, although there has been some tension recently as he is a Harry supporter.

Demelza Robins aka Mel is a 5th year Gryffindor. She does love Quidditch (but hasn't made the Gryffindor team yet) and her dad is a sports journalist so she is full of inside knowledge on the game. However, her main passion is politics and debating. She will start an argument about anything and not notice that it's not fun for the other person. She is a really nice person, though, and always sticking up for the underdog and anyone she thinks of as oppressed. She's a Marxist and a Feminist and everything else. She's also half-Indian. Oh, and she loves boys and kissing! This year she has started up a model International Confederation of Wizards (we refer to it as the Model ICW), which is like the Model UN and is basically an excuse for her to debate with people from lots of countries. Demelza also talks to everyone and is team kind-of-Harry-but-Cedric-is-nice-too-and-can-we-not-fight-about-this.

Yakov Poliakoff is a Russian Jew from Durmstrang. He is the Poliakoff that Karkaroff calls a 'disgusting boy' for having food all down his robes. He is incredibly lazy and obsessed with food. Henry will know him from classes as he's 7th year, but they probably don't have much in common! Yakov's pretty friendly too and will talk to anyone who isn't mean to him. He's basically what happens when pushy parents push too far, as he's sitting there in his self-fulfilling prophecy now. Call me lazy and stupid? Oh look what happens! He honestly doesn't care who wins the tournament and is blatantly here for the food.

Aaaaaand Valentina is a fairy-tale princess, complete with wicked stepmother. She's Italian but loves everything French because Beauxbatons is so much nicer than being at home. She is team Fleur. She is also a 7th year so he will know her from classes. Oh, and she's friends with Anais so he will know her that way too. She's very sweet, very helpful, very shy, very jealous (but tries to keep that to herself) and loves animals and music and.... basically stands there singing with animated bluebirds on her hand. Unfortunately her handsome prince and BFF Remy is gay and kissing him didn't rouse her from a sleep but made things a bit awkward for a bit instead. Ah well.

	I'm going to reply to Lee this way then because I'd like to say that Henry would love that, LOL. Henry is really playful and gets a kick out of banter and poking fun at someone (mutually) so I think he and Lee would get along really well. @Barney: I'm hoping Samir and Henry will be good friends so that along with Quidditch will mean he will know and like Barney a ton. I say we scene them for sure!

@Luke: Omg I'm getting so lazy with my responses, I'm sorry. I think Henry would definitely try to reach out to him over the years, partner up with him in some classes, too, if he finds Luke's alone and Henry doesn't want to be with X or Y for the millionth time. Conversations could be awkward maybe

@Demelza: Can she be MY BFF omg she sounds fantastic but I'm not sure Henry would know her. :(

@Yakov: Henry used to be fat because he snuck off to the kitchens and had biscuits and shit too often. :3 I think maybe he'd like Yakov a bit when he notices the food love and they could maybe get on all right from that, but other than that, like you said, they probably don't have much in common.

Awww Demelza has a lot of RL people wanting to be her BFF, haha. I think clearly this means your next character has to be a 5th year to be friends with Demelza and Marietta.

Yakov has managed to avoid being fat so far. He must have an awesome fast metabolism. I think it will all catch up with him in his mid to late 20s which could be a bit of shock to him. But yeah, he talks about food constantly, so they can always talk about that.

	Hello! I'm Lari and I'm going to look lame after all these people because I only play Marietta Edgecombe. She's shy and introverted and known best for being one of Cho's friends. Heya! I'm Julie and have four characters... and evidently a tad slow to the intro party. >.>

Allegra Flint (this journal) is a 5th Year Slytherin and a Prefect. She can be bossy, likes things better when they go her way-... but really she can actually be pretty nice. And despite being something of a girly girl at times, one of her favourite pasttimes is going hunting with her father and brother. She also happens to be the cousin of Cedric Diggory. Her best friend is... or was... Cormac McLaggen, but that's all up in the air now after Allegra confessed she liked him. So they tend to have awkward chats now... it's hilarious... for us.

Cassius Warrington (

emptyprefect) is 6th Year Slytherin, Chaser for the house team (made rather grumpy by there being no quidditch this year) and a prefect to boot. He has a twin brother in the form of Hamish Fraser. His early years were spent under the impression that he was a Pureblood and it hasn't really left his personality in some ways... though despite smirkygrumpysnarkygittish appearances he is actually somewhat of a nice guy. Actually wants to be a Healer after Hogwarts, instead of Pro Quidditch, but no one actually knows that and likely think he does want to go Pro Quidditch.

Rémy Laurent (

thatsmile) is a 7th year from Beauxbatons. Comes from a family of chocolatiers and artists... so no surprise that he loves music and art. Rather charming and friendly bloke, tries to get along with everyone and nothing really ever seems to bother him much. Was very fortunate to have supportive parents when he came out a few years back. He's in Choir and Drama Club. And is currently dating Samir Karim.

Kenneth Towler (

bulbadoxed) is a 6th Year Gryffindor Prefect. He's... well, he's most well known for being a quiet and serious kind of guy. But he has been known to fool around and have fun; though you probably won't see much of this since it's usually restrained to Drama Club. Still he's a friendly guy and tries to get along with most people. Oh, and if you have a pet rat it's probably best not to go showing it to Kenneth; he really really doesn't like rats.

...and reading through this I just realised that aside from Rémy my characters are all prefects. o.O

Um no not really, it honestly hadn't really clicked even though i knew they were prefects. o.O Allegra and Cass were conincidences in a sense since played them both before... although the time I played Cass he was head boy... so... yeah.

(That would be why I said 'for us' darling. Obviously you and Allegra won't find it hilarious. ...and apparently forgetting i was still logged into my cdj)

@Cass: They'd again probably know each other and I think maybe they'd be friendly. Henry would at least be really chill with him because he's not judgemental, but he does call people out on their snark and snarks them back. :P Maybe they have fun banter.

@Rémy: If he's dating Samir, then they'd probably be friends and, uh, Henry wants special chocolates to give to Anais just sayin'.

@Kenneth: Fooling around and having fun is Henry's thang, so he's sad that it's mostly a drama club thing. Don't worry about the rats, Henry has an owl. :)

Ahaha. Well he might be willing to share if Henry asks politely? I know Rémy has already set aside a little for Yakov...so... yeah.

He doesn't exactly have a great home life so to speak, which is one of the reasons why he's quiet/serious most of the time. Phew! :)

Hello Taryn! Welcome to the game. :D I'm Josie and I have two characters here.

Katie Bell (this journal) is a 5th year Gryffindor, who would have played against Henry in Quidditch matches for the past three years. (Henry was a Chaser too, right?) So she'll know him and be friendly. :) She's impressed with his choice of future career and might ask questions about that!

Ingvardine Nilsen (

ingvardine) is a 7th year Durmstrang student whose family are famous in the wizarding world for making dragonhide clothing. She tends to just speak her mind and can be a bit of a bitch/snob, but she can be sweet when she wants to be. I think she would've flirted with Henry until he got together with Anais?

Sorry I'm late to reply! This weekend I actually had a life which was both confusing and fun.

Yes, a chaser! So they definitely knew each other and he probably had mad respect for her being so good because she's Katie Fucking Bell. He also likes it when people approve of his career choice ^.^

I like the idea of flirting! I think Henry likes her because even though he's like, "Whoa girl calm down," if she flirted with him and showed her nice side, then he would have been like, "Oh okay she seems cool."

Katie's achievement of making the team her second year tends to be overshadowed by Harry Fucking Potter getting on as a firstie, so she'll be quite chuffed that Henry respects her chasin' skillz!
