Luke wants to be a Jedi ([info]accio_luke) wrote in [info]goblet_ooc,

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. It's Alison. This boy here is Luke and this icon will probably never be used IC as he's not very silly. He's pretty serious, actually. Luke is a 7th year Ravenclaw, his real name is Julian but he prefers to be known by his middle name because he's obsessed with Star Wars. Yup, he's a muggle-born and a giant geek. Why he would prefer the world of Star Wars to the world of Harry Potter? Well, the grass is always greener, I guess. Anyways. He's a little socially awkward and quiet but he's sweet. He works hard and gets brilliant grades and tries not to draw attention to himself because he tends to attract bullies. He wants to be your friend, if you're not too loud or scary, and if any girl wants to have dated him and scared him half to death, that would be cool too. I doubt any of your characters would be bullies, but if I'm wrong, let me know on that score too.

Looking forward to diving in!

Yaaaaaaay Luke! I do love geeks.

Out of my kids, Hamish is the one more likely to get along with Luke. Besides the Ravenclaw connection, he's not loud and he'll understand the muggle references even if his taste is geared towards other fandoms (hint: his boggart is a Dalek) and is not as passionate.

Cormac won't be a bully, per se, but he might mock a little.

Zoe is not interested in relationships at the moment, but Luke is definitely the kid of guy she'd go for if she didn't have her brother (and his Sisters) breathing down her neck. She'll be looking forward to facing him at Chess Club.

And Samir is... LOUD. He's more like a cat than a dog (well, a hyperactive cat) but I'm guessing Luke might still find him intimidating. They have Choir and Book Club together, so there's no escaping the Samir Experience.

Geeks are adorable. I want to eat them all up.

Hahaha his boggart is a Dalek. That's awesome. Yes, I think they could be friendly.

Mock away, Cormac. Luke will sort of slump in his chair in the hopes he won't see him.

Aww yay Zoe. Chess matches await!

Oh dear. Luke is going to struggle with Samir, which is a shame, as they're both muggle borns so have things in common. Should be fun to watch!

Hamish says he can't help it. He was six when Resurrection of the Daleks aired, and those little buggers were terrifying.

Cormac is tall, Luke. He'll spot you.

Samir will try to be even nicer to Luke if he notices he's uncomfortable, but I have the feeling that might make things worse. *pets them*

Luke is tall too (though no McLaggen), which makes the slumping even more ineffective...

Let's see, Larissa might be a familiar face? Other than that, Leon is his dormy, of course. I vote they should be friends! XD

Friends with Leon sounds good :-) Though he is the theatrical type, he's not too LOUD and DRAMATIC about it.

And he should get on with Larissa as well, especially if he's friendly with Hamish.

Leon says of course, someone at WADA is going to have to be normal ;) Plus, his family are fairly with it when it comes to Muggles and Muggle culture (despite his mother being pureblood) so they could possibly relate to each other on that front.

And awesome :) Larissa will always defend nerds XD

Katie will be nice! She's practically Muggle-born herself, but she doesn't get the geek thing.

Ingvardine shares four classes and two clubs with Luke, so there'll probably be interaction there, but sweet/shy boys aren't her type so she'd mostly ignore him I think.

Yeah, the foreign students scare him a bit (and Inge is one of the scarier ones), but he'll be friendly enough to Katie.

Marietta would know Luke from being in Ravenclaw, though she's 2 years younger. She really wouldn't get all the geeky references because I don't think they discuss that sort of thing in Muggle Studies. ;p

He'll be nice enough to Marietta, I should think. She's not scary.

Is it wrong that he makes me wish I played a bully?

Sorry - twisted sense of humor - I'm Netty. I just have Henri here and he is a Beauxbaton's boy who is working on his social game since he's not the Champion. He's pretty nice, a bit nerdy and quiet unless you actually know him - then he's a total clown (not a mime I promise - did I tell you, strange sense of humor).

Haha not at all. Bullies are fun.

I know who you are, I already play Barney, Yakov, Lee and Mel :-P

Luke is mostly cowering in fear from the foreign students but if he works out Henri is nerdy he will make an exception. Quiet is also good.

The only one of mine who'd interact with him in any way would be Rémy... although he wouldn't understand any muggle references very well and that's likely to confuse him. But Rémy is a friendly sort, so um... yeah...

Poor Allegra looks devastated she didn't have interaction with Luke. He feels bad.

Luke won't be unfriendly to Remy, but he is a bit intimidated by the foreign students because, you know, new people.

Aw don't feel bad, Luke. It was more that I was :( that I didn't have more characters who could interact with him.

Awww. Though I can definitely understand that. At least it's not in Rémy's personality to be overwhelming?
