| When Gaming Isn't Fun Anymore |

In a short span of five months, I am burned out on WoW. I can't take any more of the overinflated epen0r or ebewbies, the constant 'ur mom' insults, the God awful grammar and spelling skills, the guild drama, the personal attacks, the whining, begging, scamming, spamming...need I go on?
A friend of mine called WoW 'The AOL of MMORPGs'. He was right. I mean, has anyone read most of the posts on the WoW boards? My God, for a game spouting it is the largest MMORPG in the world, the majority of the community sucks ass.
All I wanted to do was play a game and have some fun, relieve stress, enjoy something. But no, it has become a chore and has lost the shimmer it used to have. I think after Valentine's Day, I am going to suspend my account and call it a day. My logic is this - if a game isn't fun anymore, there is no point playing it. I have quit RPGs in the past for the same reason, and I haven't went back to them since.
I'm sure there are other rpg's out there, but to be honest, I'm kinda burned out on the very idea of even playing a game at all. Anyone else had this problem?

When it comes to WoW, I have become, well, rather disenchanted with my level 61 priestess. I just can't seem to get her leveled higher, so I have put the breaks on her for a while. I rolled a hunter, and I am absolutely loving it. I leveled her from 1 to 15 in one day. I am kinda getting burnt out with WoW, so I am taking a bit of a sabbatical.
Have you ever loved a game so much, you burnt yourself out on it? |

Verne Troyer, best known as 'Mini-Me' from Austin Powers, is the latest celeb to make a WoW commercial.
Mr. T is still my favorite WoW commerical. I pity the fool!

What games are you girls currently playing? As I stated previously, I have been playing World of Warcraft for the past 4 months. I am a level 51 Troll Priest, specced in shadow. I have some other toons I rarely play, but I am fond of my blood elf warlock. Haven't really been doing much, as I am waiting for the holiday stuff to come out. I also collect non-combat pets, and I have 18 currently.
I haven't played a console in a while, but more than likely, I will pick up a Wii sometime next year. I was a Playstation peep for years, but Mario brought me back to Nintendo, not to mention Sonic. Yay. |
