[28 Dec 2013|03:07pm] steelandsilk Hello everyone, Lis here bringing you two very important people (in their own minds at least): His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Harry Potter of England and Her Royal Highness, Princess Morrigan Flint of Ireland. If you don't know me already, I spend way too much time online, love Disney, and speak in gifs. Enough about me and more about those you give a damn about. Harry, born Henry James Dominic Idris, is the Crown Prince of England and is incredibly boring if you listen to those working the gossip pages of the press. He is currently the seeker for the Tutshill Tornados and has played for England in the past two World Cups, but when he's not involved with Quidditch he makes appearances on the behalf of the Crown and counting down the days until his sister is old enough to pick up some of the slack. Harry is an affable young man and abhors any whiff of scandal. He tends to prefer quiet evenings in with close friends rather than being seen at the latest hotspots in Diagon Alley. See? Boring. Or at least that's what he'd like you to believe. Harry has a fondness for loopholes and will exploit them to his complete benefit. He stands up for friends and the underdogs. He hasn't quite gotten to the point where he collects strays... but that isn't quite inconceivable. He's known to be incredibly informal with people, preferring to go by Harry almost all of the time and rarely bringing up his royal status. Lines I would love for Harry: His childhood friends/companions. HERMIONE (we'll work it out, somehow). One or two exes (Most of his relationships have not been able to sustain the intense pressure of the press. They've ended amicably). Teammates? ~*~ Morrigan, known as Emmy to close friends and family, is the Princess of Ireland and looks like she is the epitome of spun sugar. She can be incredibly sweet, charming, and optimistic, often coming across as a softer counterpart to her eldest brother. Don't underestimate her, however. Morrigan can be incredibly ruthless and has the pride and ego of someone twice her size. She believes that whatever the Flints are doing they are doing in the name of the betterment of Ireland. Morrigan suffers from a slight chip on her shoulder as she was never expected to be at the level of her brothers even though she's just as capable (if not more so, at times) than either Marcus or Jon. Despite this, she is incredibly loyal to the two of them. Morrigan has the reputation of being a bit of a flirt and there have been rumors of more, but that's all they've been... so far. She's gotten quite good at cleaning up her messes or at least having others clean them up for her. Morrigan does adore the spot of good gossip and her teas have been known as a wonderful place to learn about the pulse of the Palace. Lines I would love for Morrigan: Her friends/companions (she has two or three she is incredibly close to and are honestly friends). Former lovers (There are some specific lines in her app I would love filled). Those Morrigan will probably try to destroy/discredit (Finnigan, she's looking at you.) A possible current lover. [28 Dec 2013|02:20pm] luckydame May I introduce to you all the Muggleborn lady who's been given the title Dame for her research efforts with the English Department of Mysteries - Ms. Penelope Clearwater. Well, at least that's what she expects you to believe about her if you live in England. If you live in Ireland, then you may have met a young pureblooded woman by the name of Tallullah O'Neill. She may not know gaelic, but she has a Dubliner's accent and is always one to hear a good story, have a drink of ale, or even go home with you, particularly if you're the type who happens to talk in your sleep. If you're in Scotland, however, you may know of Sidheag MacKinnon, a pureblood who speaks as if she's spent her entire life in Aberdeen and has a particular fondness for the palace guards. Or maybe you've met someone else who seemed to exist for only you for a single night, only to leave the next morning. Maybe you've met up with a friend or family member, only for them to have forgotten your conversation the night before, though everything about the way they move or speak is the same. Maybe in the end, they're all one and the same - a spy for the English court who blends into any and all environments, who fosters connections in other kingdoms, and who is very persistent in her quest for knowledge. Even she has trouble remembering who she really is beneath all of the disguises, but she will always gladly have a chat - particularly if you have important information that she would like to have. 4 +

Introducing Anaïs Séverine Joëlle Annabelle Delacour Bolduc... [28 Dec 2013|03:21pm] femmefidele ... or HRH Princess Anaïs of Québec for (sort of!) short. Hello! I'm Heather and I'm one of your resident Brits. So what do I do? I bring you a foreigner, naturally. Anaïs is 22 and is the second child of King Anthony and Queen Annabelle. Her brother is the current Crown Prince and it will soon be Anaïs' duty to announce to the European courts that he and his wife are expecting an heir, which partially leads to the two reasons she is here - 1) to promote her country's interests among the foreign courts, and 2) to potentially seek a match/another alliance for herself. The girl herself would completely have been a Gryffindor had she gone to Hogwarts. She is bold, confident and charming, and values being a good conversationalist. Even when visiting the purist nations, she will keep matters of politics to a minimum until she has sussed out Québec's options. She knows that some families would look down on her, despite royal status, because Queen Annabelle is a Squib. A squib from a pureblood family, but a squib nontheless. Anaïs also does a lot for charity back home and would likely do so on her visits - she is artistic and creates art textiles as a hobby, but also creates blankets, quilts and clothing for the poor and unfortunate. The full details are in her bio, but in essence, her grandfather (Sylvain I) was the first King of Québec after leading the magical peoples to secede from the Canadian Ministry of Magic, after uncovering corruption in the magical government that the Minister did nothing about. Anaïs' father, the present King, followed in his father's footsteps by building a very strong base of support among his people - they are a very fortified military nation, where every citizen is at least taught basic defensive magic and healing and most others are either reservists or part of a standing army, making Québec an interesting potential ally. The Bolducs are also known for promoting the rights and interests of the various First Nations peoples of the region they control, meaning that the magical citizens of those groups are also loyal in their support. [28 Dec 2013|06:15am] irishlad Hello loves, I am Beth and I bring you Seamus Finnigan, former Irish Prince and exiled from his home country (has been ever since he was born). Anyways, Seamus is very much a definitive person. Firm and loyal in his beliefs and willing to stand up to them till the bitter end. But then again, he's a bit full of himself when the circumstances arise and has this lovely tendency to occasionally do something or speak his mind before he thinks it through. Working on that though. Speaking of work, Seamus manages the estates of the English Monarchs. So you've may have seen him around. He's kind of a workaholic and wants to make sure no stone is left unturned. He strives for perfection most of the time and wants to appease everyone. Also, before I forget, he was tutored with the Prince of England, so he has kind of been privileged despite his commoner status. Um, plots. Well, it is clearly obvious that he doesn't like the Flint family. He would like to see the rightful Irish family on the throne. But that is easier said said than done and he may not even have any backers. But it's a matter of seeing where it goes. I'm also pretty curious as to what other nobles and royals would think if him, since he did have a bit of privilege in his life. Maybe it was undeserved since to most he is just a commoner. That and I would love to see if there are things that could form that would get Seamus to not spend so much time at his job, he is pretty much a closeted workaholic. This is Millicent Bulstrode, Viscountess from Scotland. She is a bit of a wild child. She has traveled a bit, got her potions mistress certification, and been at the heart of a scandal or two in the Scottish Court, so she is currently keeping an eye on her younger brother as he goes wife shopping in the English court,and riding out her latest rumor fest. Her older brother was disowned, and instead of making her the heir - her father by passed her in favor of said younger brother. She is looking for a lover, her parents are looking for a betrothal, and her brother is looking to have some fun while the FUN older sibling is watching out for him. 1. Millicent is being sent to England to get her out of the Scottish court while a scandal blows over. ANYONE who would like to be involved with misc. mischief apply here. 2. Millicent is a VERY well respected potions mistress - known a bit for her open mindedness to experimentation - please feel free to use that for whatever political purpose you like. Poisoning, truth serum, infertility - if she finds it challenging or amusing enough she will take it on. 3. She has been dancing around getting betrothed for several years - I would love that to backfire on her - and with someone that will drive her nuts - good or bad. She needs someone other than her parents to drive nuts. 4. She is infinitely close to her brothers - I would love to see the power dynamic with the siblings.
