Aww sheeeet, with all these intros no one is going to care about mine! Hey guys, this is Julie, some of you may remember me and the kid I'm bringing in from way back during the dawn of Genome, but if not, here is Mao. He is... Mao.
He's been revamped so it is not an older version after the time jump, and therefore none of those old connections exist. He's all fresh and new. He's 16, has adoptive muscle memory, and is a loudmouth, energetic, aggressively extroverted, immature, sarcastic and fun loving. Since his powers are basically a form of, "Everything you can do I ca do better" he is big on showing off. Loves music and dancing and anything that looks really friggen' cool like gymnastics and martial arts. He's always feeding his power by watching videos of things so he has a pretty big repertoire.
He was born on the island, but was just a kid when it was all falling apart. His scientist mom was like, "Fuck it, I'm out." and ran off with him. She got involved with some pro-mutant groups and ended up getting killed two years ago and Mao became a little New York street rat until a half brother hunted him down and took him in. He was very recently enrolled in Wyrd Haven, but despite everyone having cool powers he still hates school and ditches when he can.
He needs people to meet and annoy and bro around with. Also I hear, pray tell, that there is a band floating around and this band might be in need of a drummer? Mao was born to hit things with sticks, and due to his powers, would be mega useful in a band so if you band people want to work something out where Mao applies I'd be like, "Yay!"
So, uh, Hi again, and Hi for the first time also.
(PS. Don't mind my retarded icons for this journal, its impossible to find good ones of this PB where he doesn't look like a crackhead drag queen. I took what I could get, lol.)
