Hi everyone, Steph again! And as promised, I present you with Samuel Bailey (just in time for wedding shenanigans)!
He's the father of the Bailey family and the principal of the high school. Sam's super intelligent, really hard working and I like to think of him as a slightly altered version of Phil Dunphy on Modern Family. He tries to be the cool, fun dad with his kids and is really bad at punishing them. He's not always the best parent, like when he's doing research for the Project or working at MPHS, but he does love his kids.
I'm up for just about any and all plots that anyone might want. Being the principal of the high school, he tries to get to know all of the students at least on a name-to-face basis and he's probably had to have a talk with a few of them whether it be over girls pulling hair or some ghetto throw-downs on the part of the boys. He likes to have their house be open to everyone who needs a bed, so if your character has ever ran away from home or needed a place to stay, perhaps they've stayed at the Bailey's.
Anyways, he needs everything but a family and wife. No other mistresses though, lolz. But yes, friends, acquaintances, enemies, frenemies, colleagues... I'm thinking maybe a Dad's Club? (aka a night every so often for cigars, scotch, and cards)

Hi, this is Holly again. After seeing so many posts that I wanted to tag, but was unable to do so because Charles just wouldn't deign himself to it (I can feel him judging me through the screen), I've picked up this guy here, Adam Howard - and if the surname is familiar it's because he's Nathan's older brother.
He's 23, freshly graduated, and will definitely be more social than He Who Shall Never Be Appeased. Among other things, Adam enjoys keeping fit, movies, discussing the state and issues of the island, and having weekends free to kick back. He's recently joined the police department, but please don't let that put your characters off; while he'll help to patrol, he just sees the job as a means of experience to become a detective and get off the island. Serious crimes are his interests. He's more likely to share a joint than warn you off it... unless Patrick is watching, in which case he's sorry and will make it up to you later :/ On the plus side, being on the inside means he can try to redirect things at the office when it looks like your ass is gonna be busted, and will use his authority to kick out anyone you don't like from your otherwise pleasant evening at the bar. I guess you take the good with the bad.
His power is Kinetic Absorption. Basically, he can absorb the energy from movements of both objects and living creatures, store it, and consequently manipulate their movement. This also means he can safely absorb the force of a physical attack/collision - he can still get hurt, but wounds are superficial. He can also concentrate it into a bout of physical strength. There are lots of limitations to the ability though: he can't use it consecutively for too long, overloading/overusing will exhaust him, that sort of thing. At the moment he doesn't have a very good grasp on his power, so it won't always work the way he wants it to, and he hasn't told anyone outside of his family/the police about it yet.
So, I'm looking for any kind of relationships and potential plot. Friends, power-experimentation-buddies, someone to help him learn how to control his ability, old collegemates, enemies, ex-girlfriends, flings, secret guy crushes, that awkward kind of relationship when you just know he wants to bump ugly with your mom/daughter/sister/brother, etc. There are actually several other premades I'm interested in too, but rather than bug you all individually, I thought I'd leave it in this post to say that if you think he'd fit any role you have open, it's probable that I'd love to discuss it.

Okay, so before anyone goes :O!!!!!!!!!!!!! No, Penny didn't just die here. As far as I'm concerned, she's going to live for a really long time and was never a character I intended to kill (unlike some other character >_>). However, she is going to go through some pretty hard times here in the near future.
To summarize, basically, she fainted after the reception and was taken to the hospital. Within the first few days, no one really knows what's wrong with her other than dehydration and things like that. She will be stable and visitors will be allowed. After the first few weeks (yes, it's going to be weeks), they will slowly begin to discover she has acute myelogenous leukemia. Yes, this is real. One of my brother's friends has it, and even though he was doing better with it for a while, in fact, we were just told he's back in the hospital.
This is a very treatable form of leukemia, mostly with chemotherapy and things like that. Sooooo, basically, Penny is going to be out of commission during the summer. She may have better days than others, and it's still undetermined whether she will be well enough to return to Pearson to finish her last year of high school. She'll still be posting things in her journal whenever they allow her to use a computer, so people will be able to know her status sort of. Anything else that should be common knowledge but Penny won't tell you about, I'll post in the OOC.
So. Next question that I know you are all dying to ask... What happens to Songbird? Answer...? I have no idea right now. XD
