I'm Elya, and this is Calvin Banes-Alberici. Calvin is Katie Baker's ex-boyfriend...I found out about this game from an ad looking for him. Quick summary: he's unhappily precognitive, has an overbearing mother (I'll be looking for someone to play her!), and can be sort of manipulative but was not that hard to get along with before he started having a really hard time figuring out how to deal with the precognition. He's been a lot more moody and hard to get along with lately. More info here.
Connections: I'd love to have friends, former friends, estranged friends, enemies, or any other connections for Calvin. I also have a few backstory items to fill. First of all, the first time he tried to change a precognitive vision was because he saw something bad happening to someone he knew and tried to keep them from doing whatever caused the problem but it didn't change anything. Anyone want that? I'd also be open to connections of any sort through Calvin's stepfather, who's pretty undeveloped at the moment. Name changes, plugging someone else in there, whatever would be fine with me. And since Calvin doesn't see his stepfather as a father figure, if anyone would want to have filled that role for a fatherless boy, let me know! And finally, the position of Calvin's genetic father (has to be intelligent and someone his mother Alys would respect) is open.
Plans: First off, establishing more of the Katie/Calvin former relationship dynamic, obviously :)
Near term (and ongoing), anything that jolts Calvin or gives him an opportunity to react badly to something or lets him know that ignoring the visions isn't a solution would be excellent. Other ways of trying to deal, making mistakes, making things worse, making things better, etc.
A bit longer term, I eventually want him to find out about his genetic father, that his mother knew all the time, etc. This could be extra fun if his father has a family too.
Probably even longer term, if there's a point where people start figuring out that their whole lives have been experiments, that the whole town is either experimenter or part of the experiment, and maybe start rebelling or whatever, I'd really like Calvin to be a part of that.
Also please let me know if there's anything Calvin can do for your characters, any plot you need he might fit into or anything that's going to be happening it might be interesting for him to see, etc. :)
