Hey everybody! Kit here with character #2. And he is the ultimately awesome no way anyone is better than him, Fan Zong Xian (that's his ego talking I apologize), or Ethan for all his friends, enemies, etc. who look at Zong Xian and go "bwuh?". ANYWAY!
Ethan is a freshman at Hobbs with no idea what he wants to do once he's out of school. He suffers from chronic insomnia (since he was 16) so more often than not Ethan is likely to be up at all hours of the night save for those few nights he actually manages to catch some z's at a normal hour for a human being. He also has an ego the size of China Russia the planet. Although he really just thinks he's that freaking awesome that the world basically revolves around him most of the time. Which goes sort of hand in hand with his being sort of superficial like his sister Layla.
He is an alum of both the track and swim team at Pearson, but he gave those up as he'd rather play for the fun and joined one of the intramural wiffle ball teams at Hobbs instead. (Professional athletes are completely lame.) He is also blunt as all get out and has made people cry with his bluntness. So softies beware Ethan is not feeling remorseful.
Ethan's power is lie detection. Mwuhahahahaha...or something.

OKAY SO. This month instead of pushing big plots, we're going to try pushing random interactions. A lot of characters plot and play with the same characters. There is nothing wrong with this, but sometimes random interactions can be fun, and also a great way to start up organic lines with someone your character otherwise might not have threaded with. Emily and I and a few others in between have come up with twenty five random interactions. Since we made this list BEFORE we got like 8 new characters, we will accept suggested lines to add on, either via IM or email.
It will work like this: Every random interaction we made up is in a comment in this thread. Comment to the random interaction that you want for your char and then post whenever. You only have the month of October to post, but if you claim an interaction YOU HAVE ONE WEEK to post it or we will open it back up for someone else. This is mostly because we have a limited amount and over 50 characters. We assumed that not every character would participate, but if you TAG someone's random interaction, then you cannot post your own WITH THAT CHARACTER. This will also help ensure that everyone can have a shot to play.
Once you post your interaction (YOU ARE CHARACTER A), someone tags it (AS CHARACTER B). This someone has to be someone that you DON'T plot with regularly. It would also be preferred that they are not part of your characters family. If your character plots with everyone and the open thread doesn't get tagged within a week of it posting, then anyone can then tag it, regardless of whether or not they plot together.
Thread set up is the same, just make sure that once someone tags, you change the OPEN in the "Who:" box to that characters name. For the cut-tag, put OTA OCTOBER so we know how many people are actually participating.

Heeeey guys!
OKAY
I said I was going to do it. And I did. This is who I'm dropping Jake for. His name is Jasper John Allen, but don't call him that or he'll punch you. He's Josie and Jacen's little bro (not blood related) and he's a little shit.
Basically, he's a really smart kid, but too immature to be bumped up to the next grade. So he's constantly bored, and gets into a lot of trouble. He's currently a high school freshman, and needs friends, enemies, people he can manipulate, and things he can set on fire!!
Yay!!
