Hi guys.
Apparently, there is a shooting going on at my campus right now. No one's been hurt thus far except for one suspect who shot himself. There is currently another armed suspect on the loose, though, so please keep everyone here at UT in your thoughts.

UPDATE: An official statement on the news just said that they are not positive there is a second suspect. It may very likely be that the report was of the same suspect who is now dead. They are just sweeping the campus to be sure.
It seems like everything is calming down now, and there are still no reported injuries, which is amazing.
UPDATE 2: They have officially given the all clear. :] The library is still closed, but otherwise things are okay. No one was injured except the shooter.

Hey guys just wanted to let you know my e-mail is acting a little wonky today because apparently someone hacked my account and has been sending spam so I'm locked from sending anything out. Also some e-mails I'm not getting. It should be fixed by tonight or by the latest tomorrow. If you want to get a hold of me just post a comment here.
Also side note; my little muse Emily has been a little silent this month and since the weather has been kind of crazy up in seattle now my muse for her is really loud so if anyone one wants to thread with Emily or even just do a sort of long text thing, just let me know!
UPDATE:
Okay apparently it is letting me send out e-mails now and is not failing is much, I still need to reset my password tonight, but I'm not expecting any more problems.

(I feel like a dick posting things like this after Ashley's ooc post. D: )
Hey guys! I just posted the solo where Dietre kills his parents. Obviously the death of two parents/scientists is going to cause a ton of craziness to happen. It happened Monday night, a few hours after the football game, lots of cop cars and ambulances at Dietre's house, so by Tuesday morning the whole island should be aware that something happened. I am sure Dietre's neighbors heard the screaming and likely called the police to investigate (Mari?) They would see his parents being removed in body bags (or under white sheets) and Dietre being removed by stretcher so they would know he was alive.
SCIENTISTS:
They'll probably be coming up with theories and possibly be confused. Until this point Dietre was assumed by his parents (their names were Henrich and Mischa) to not have powers. They thought the only thing the tampering with his genomes caused was his hallucinations/mental problems, therefore he was a dud/failure. Things for them to consider when coming up with, "WTF power does D have?" :
- Dietre's parents look to have been killed by a large animal.
- The only blood on Dietre was his own from his nose bleeding.
- His nose bled, maybe his power has something to do with his brain?
- A couple of weeks ago Dietre had gone to the hospital with a large claw wound on his side that required stitches.
- Hey didn't one of us maybe see the kid walking around with a big black dog a few times? Where is that dog? WHAT is that dog?
- Was it not Dietre at all but another person entirely?
EVERYONE ELSE:
Start the rumor mill! Dietre's parents are dead! Did someone break into their house and murder them, but D lived? Is D hurt? Did that creepy ass kid go all Lizzie Borden on his parents!? Defend or condemn him! Songbird, feel free to sing!
ALISSA AND EMILY:
Sorry for just throwing this up while you weren't around!! If anything should change or you don't want it to happen right now I can delete things and repost it later or something!
We so need to talk about what happens to Dietre once he is removed from the scene! Lots of tests and stuff and I assume he's going to be kept somewhere for a while. Laura and I were thinking that at some point Francis can be assigned to Dietre to find out what his deal is/control him/keep an eye on him incase he goes ape shit and kills more people. I AM AT YOUR WHIMS AND STUFF.
IN CONCLUSION:
So....Go crazy with it, people?
