This is Ma (the mind behing Christine Delacroix for the new kids on the block). Unfortunately, I became even more of an inactive bitch during my forced hiatus than I had predicted and now I'll basically have to spend hours catching up. So many shiny new characters around here!
But the good news is THE HIATUS IS OVER <3 And now Christine is divorced and a single mom. Weird. BUT HEY, she needs plotz! Friends, acquaintances, lovers, people who hang out at her bookstore... Anything! Hit me up at <i>llantodeguitarra</i> and THROW PLOTZ AT ME!

Hello! My name's Jay and I am a newbie to Genome Project (which, I must add, is one of the coolest looking RPs that I've seen around in awhile). I was attracted by the ad in ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) fantasy_rpgs and perused the wanted ads page, and voila, here I am! I've brought with me this lovely lady among the ranks of the genetically altered. Her name is Emma Lourdes Rodriguez and she is Ethan's best friend!
Emma's little "quirk" is plant manipulation. So she can do nifty stuff like make flowers grow and make vines climb up stuff. Almost like Poison Ivy from Batman, I'd imagine. Problem is, she was a late bloomer with her powers (just like puberty, go figure), so she's only known about them for 2 years and her control is limited. They tend to fluctuate when she's in her rock n' roll sort of moods. Namely, when she's singing or gets super passionate about something.
In a nutshell, Emma is very loud. She's outgoing and in-your-face, most of the time in a good way. She's very open-minded and doesn't much care for narrow-minded people. She's blunt, which can rub people the wrong way sometimes. Her biggest passion in life is rock music and she wants to be a rock star! Though...the closest she's gotten is working in a music store, lol. She loves to play dress up (seriously) and one of her favorite things to do is tease her best friend Ethan! Oh, and Emma is also very protective. Sometimes overprotective...yeah.
