Where: James' room
When: Wednesday
Rating: PG-13+ for language
James didn't know what it was, but something felt off. Maybe he was getting too used to seeing Mao on a regular basis, and the whole grounding thing had thrown off the flow of things. He wasn't sure, but something was just wrong. part of that could easily be attributed to the fact that he had just asked Emily Elwood to a formal dance. That was definitely not the normal way of things in James' world, not even a little.
After his conversation with Mao, he'd shoved his window open and kicked back on his bed, leaning against his head board. If there was something wrong, Mao would have said so. After all, what could possibly be bad enough that Mao wouldn't tell him? James had been told some weird shit by that kid in his life. He couldn't see anything pressing the envelope to much for him.
Maybe all the pot was making him paranoid. Definitely a possibility. He liked that option best.
