Believe it or not, there were times when David got bored. It was typically during the day when he wasn't working, but most people were. He rarely worked during the day. He wasn't much of a day time person anyway. So, here he was, at the bookstore, trying to find something to entertain him.
David was dyslexic, and so reading hadn't always been his favorite activity. He'd learned techniques to help him read, and had since learned to appreciate it. Plus, when there were nothing but reruns on tv, there'd be something to entertain him. He wasn't all that interested in video games, so really, reading was his only other option. So, there he was, walking aimlessly through the bookstore, he didn't know what he was looking for, but being outside the apartment with the busted window was good enough for him.
He settled in the fiction section, grabbed the closest thing with an interesting cover and sat in an arm chair leafing through it, not really paying much attention to what he was reading. Being bored sucked.
