Mari smiled. "Trust me. I'm far from normal. But not in a bad way!" Or at least the bad part wasn't the part she shared with others. Her quirky personality was enough to earn her the title of abnormal. Forget that she could acquire people's powers or anything like that. It was also a bit frightening, the idea of losing oneself to a drink. Mari wasn't sure she could handle that. It was usually important for her to stay in control, because only heaven knew what would happen with her powers if she lost control.
She tried to brush off the mild awkward moment there with the wink and handed him a copy of the book. "I'm sure we'll be in contact, but here." She pulled out a piece of paper and wrote her phone number on it before handing it to him. She hoped he wouldn't immediately notice Hello Kitty on the paper. She must have grabbed Sasha's notebook before leaving the house. Mari usually carried around a Disney notebook. "Send me a text whenever you're ready."
