Eden was glad he gave her at least a little smile. She guessed it must be a little weird for a stranger to sort of call you on the fact of maybe being a mutant and it being a good thing. She had sort of known about Toby like forever so it never really ever dawned on her to hate or be scared of mutants. As a child she saw it as they could do magic. As she got older she knew it was because of some scientific bullshit but it still was pretty cool. It was definitely a unique thing.
She shrugged when he said he was just in the area, "Oh, okay then, I wasn't just wanted to avoid going home and facing my parents. They probably brought home another 'nice Jewish boy' for me to meet." She rolled her eyes, no matter what they thought she was not going back to the faith, if she ever got married she wanted it to be because she wanted to, she didn't want to have the dude's faith be a deciding factor.
"Of course I think they're awesome!" Eden said in disbelief, "I mean one of my best friends from when I was really little can make plants grow another one can talk to dead people. It's like magic. When I turn eighteen I so plan on buying one of my own. However, a lot of them I see having drawbacks so I'll have to think it over a lot. I don't want to get a power and end up destroying the world or some shit."
