Rating: TBD
Status: Incomplete
Dinner had been prepared, served and consumed, and the verdict was in: Alice was a pretty fantastic cook. Not that he would have guessed otherwise, but it was good to know all the same. It was nice that they shared another mutual interest--or skill, really--and frankly it had been fun to have someone in his kitchen besides him. There was nothing like a home cooked meal, but it always seemed better when you didn't have to do all the work yourself.
However, there was a small annoying nagging feeling in the back of his mind that had to do with Gemma and her prodding. And now his sister was probably off boning Eyebrows just to prove a point. Ugh, siblings. Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em. Atthe same time though, and in spite of all that chiding about him not acting like himself, it was just... Nice to get to know some one beforejumping into bed with them. It was nice, and totally foreign but the pleasantness of the whole experience sort of eclipsed the awkwardness that came with doing things differently for once. He didn't expect his siblings to understand (well, maybe Ian, but they weren't exactly on sharing terms). That was the real problem, and it was the only thing clouding his mood this evening. It wasn't enough to bother him really, or to wear on his sleeve, but it was always in the back of his mind.
So, with dinner finished, Boo got up to clear off the table. "I can't believe you kept that a secret this whole time. Dinner was amazing." He bent down toward her for a quick kiss in thanks for the meal. "What other secrets do you have up your sleeve?"
