AC stepped into the house and looked around. He thought that might have looked weird, a random boy just walking into a random house and looking so interested in what was inside. So, he tried to just focus on her, or rather how Spirit!Alan was reacting to her. He couldn't tell what that look on his smokey face was. Scrutiny? Confusion? A remembered bad memory? In fact, Spirit!Alan hadn't actually said a word since they had started over to Josie's. AC didn't even know why he (Spirit!Alan) had agreed to come talk to Josie. He just hoped he was going to do more than just stare at her like that.
"I'm not hungry right now, but thanks." He sat down on the couch as if he was just another regular visitor in Josie Clarke's life. He wasn't sure if he should ask if her husband was home. It was going to sound creepy, but then, so was agreeing to let her talk to her former lover through him. He nodded at her question. "He is. He's kind of... all over the place. He's not just, you know confined to a body." Plus, his soul wasn't exactly in tact either, but he didn't want to mention that to her.
