Some people might not enjoy working with the higher ups in the world. They had a tendency to be a little high-maintenance, expect to be treated differently, the works, but hell if they didn't pay well. It was easy enough for someone like Cam to turn on the charm and get an icy senator to warm up to him, which was especially helpful for some of the more paranoid types- the types who seemed to be his most frequent customers.

It was a bit tiring, though, putting on that face for extended periods of time, even more so when he was trying to cloak someone's secret affair or hide their important documents or belongings. After a tiring evening with an especially needy senator, Camden needed a serious kick the next morning to get himself up and running, so he'd headed to one of his favorite coffee shops in the area for some much-needed caffeine.

He pulled out the latest paper, chuckling at a photo of one of his latest clients smiling proudly with his wife at his side at a speech. Why was it that the ones who pushed the hardest for family values had the kinkiest lives behind the scenes?

Camden wasn't entirely used to talking about himself, and he was much more comfortable prodding into other people's minds than letting them into his. After all, everyone else always loved to talk about themselves (especially women).

"No," he replied, shrugging. "I find it difficult with all my traveling around for work. It takes a very patient person." Not to mention all the secrecy that went along with the job. People always wanted to know, but Camden had his rules.

"Perhaps finding yourself a teleporter to hit on would be a good idea," Jimmy smirked and took another sip of his coffee. "Sadly, I'm a healer among other things. But not a teleporter. Guess you'll have to look elsewhere." He sounded like he had just won an argument and made his closing point, like the book on the two of them had just closed.

"I'm not really the kind of guy who likes people to show up without warning," he replied with a soft chuckle. "A little surprise now and then is nice." He eyed Jimmy as he rose up to his feet and slid on his sunglasses. "You were a nice surprise, Congressman Monroe. For the record."

A surprised look rolled over Jimmy's face. He didn't like people to show up without warning, and yet he was guilty of being here, there, and everywhere. It seemed rather ridiculous to him but he didn't say anything. He didn't say anything to Camden's other comments either. Instead, he just shook his head disapprovingly, but smiling. "It was nice seeing you, Camden." He picked his iPad back up and took another sip of coffee. "Don't be a stranger." And with that, Jimmy turned his full attention back to the articles slandering his good name.
