Who: Alfie and Gemma Collins What: Public Transportation Nap Where: The wheels on the bus go round and round When: Saturday Rating: Who knows!
Fucking public transportation. Sure, it was great when you knew how the heck to use it. After all these years, Alfie still had issues with the transportation system. He'd gotten himself a car, but after the recent accident, he was carless for the time being. His luck had it that there was a gaming conference in Times Square, and Alfie's company just had to send him in to scout the place out. As far as he knew, that wasn't his job. But he wasn't about to complain about the free pass into the conference. The only thing he was complaining about was how to get on a damn train around here. He needed to buy a ticket, but where?
It took him a while, but he finally figured it out. Before long though, he was on the subway and speeding over toward Times Square. Or so he hoped. It had been a long, annoying few days where he had to get his things together for his car. It still needed some work to be done to the front end that would require yet another day of repairs at the auto shop. The part Alfie hated the most was having to cough up all that money, though the insurance was going to pay him back. Or so he hoped. What was the point of paying insurance when they weren't around to help you out?
Alfie felt himself dozing off as his music jammed on in his ears. He tried in vain to stay awake as the movement of the subway lulled him to sleep. It felt like only minutes to Alfie, but when he woke, the subway was nearly empty. How long had he been out? Where the hell was he? Had he missed his stop? He glanced at his watch and realized he had a good four hours before the conference was over. Now if he could only figure out where he was now.
