Who: Alfie and Josie What: HULKAlfie-SMASH! When: Wednesday afternoon Where: The park Rating: Medium
Alfie was mad. A D- on his Math test? It just wasn't possible. And he had actually studied for this one this time. And really, he'd thought that the one to fear in all of this was Mr. Evans. He had no idea all along that the one he should have been afraid of was Mrs. Evans. Of course, she had never done anything to him in the past, but Alfie was almost sure she was making him fail on purpose, because of his break up with Laney. It was all in his mind, as Jen was not the vengeful type, nor had she even blamed Alfie for his and Laney's break up. Alfie was still mad though, because he couldn't believe how he could fail a math test that he studied for and understood the basic concepts.
He would have been in a more reasonable mood had he gone to see her after school, daydreamed a bit in her voluptuous presence and been over it in no time. However, his mood was further darkened when Mrs. Evans wasn't available after school to review his test with him. All this in Alfie's mind meant that she was clearly out to get him. He stormed out of the school, not even bothering to make it to his after school practices and just stomped on over to the park. He wasn't sure what brought him here. He just knew that he was mad and thankfully had enough clarity of mind to dispel his anger in a place where not many people tended to linger. It was winter, and no one wandered the park unless they absolutely had to.
With a puff of infuriated smoke from his nostrils, Alfie marched forward through the trees. His steps were so rough that he left decent-sized holes through the snow showing the dirt and mud and grass underneath. One rather unfortunate tree was unlucky enough to be in his path as he walked. With the slightest motion of his arm as if he was merely flicking a fly away from him, he hit the tree and continued walking. It wasn't until he had taken a few steps did he hear the eerie creaking and cracking of the tree. Straight from the root, the tree tilted and tilted and tilted until it was completely uprooted and dropped to the ground with a loud rumble. Alfie's eyes went wide at the sight, his anger ebbing slowly away as he assessed just how much trouble he was going to be in.
