Sasha smiled and turned at the sound of his voice. His cheeks looked pink from the cold, but otherwise, he was just as cute as she knew him to be. It was hard to forget about the cold, but having him here somehow made it easier to bear. "It is freezing," she replied. The cold made it look like puffs of smoke were coming out of her mouth as she spoke. She ignored this and worked to get her arms tighter around herself if that was even possible.
"Maybe we should walk?" she suggested. "I'll make us a little warmer, I think?" She casually glanced back to see if she could catch a glimpse of her sister's car out by the parking lot. Luckily, it was too dark for her to see. She hoped it worked the same the other way around. Slowly, she began taking a few steps closer to the water, though she had no intentions of getting near enough to get wet.
