Nora watched as her daughter wrapped up her lampshade with expert fingers. She couldn't help but smile at the ease with which she did these things. "Oh, you know your father. Always getting into sizzling situations. Do you think we should do a barbecue for Father's Day next week? The idea of mowing the lawn had crossed my mind, but when I went to stand out in the porch for a few minutes and came back in drenched in sweat, I decided against it."
She nodded about the no AC issue. It made her even thirstier, and she gulped down her lemonade quick. "I've always liked the beach. Any excuse to wear as little as possible while still looking decent." She glanced at her watch and seemed to calculate something in her head. "Whenever you want to go dress shopping. I've got all afternoon... or well, just until I have to toss dinner together. It's burgers night tonight!"
