Nora absolutely loved artistic flair, regardless of how it was expressed. Though she herself had no real talents, she still loved the arts and the theater. Her husband, obviously, had a knack for the dramatic, and Kaylee could literally create art out of something most people would just see as useless. "And you do it wonderfully." She walked around the room with her cup in hand, not looking at anything in particular and only slightly twirling the liquid in her cup around so that the ice would keep it cool in this heat.
"Oh, I'll just hang out over here if you don't mind, faaaaaaar away from any of the glassy things." She really didn't want anything to happen to her glass, much less the present for the newlyweds. She couldn't bare to look at herself if she knew she was the cause of such destruction. "Ah yes," she said with a tap to her chin, "he had sparks coming out of the tips of his fingers for weeks." And even though she said it with a frown, anyone who knew her knew that she was secretly giggling on the inside. She was just one of those people who laughed at physical comedy, even when bad things happened to her.
She glanced down at her lemonade and sighed. "It's going to be a long, hot summer."
