That made her feel a little better. Then her mom also probably had thought anything her daughters did was beautiful. This was something that she enjoyed, and there weren't many hobbies that Kaylee had stuck to for very long. Even her time trying to become an actress had been extremely limited. Too many people might be watching and she was likely to fall off the front of the stage. At least it was something outside of keeping her nose buried in a book and doing math problems. Her seriousness completely was opposite of her mom, but they still seemed to get along. Most of the time. She pushed lightly on her mom's nose though with a pop of her own lips. "We're just an artistic group and I channel mine differently?"
She stood up and got another one of the lemonades off her table. "Should I be standing between you and the case of glass sheets?" Kaylee wanted to get some new glass, but some of that even needed to be ordered. "I used a pattern though for pretty much all of my stuff. Even then I have to draw something so I make it the right size so they fit." She'd also had a good teacher from the theatre to help her out. "I think we're on our seventh in the last five years? Kind of glad he decided just to replace it after the first time. I think his hair was all standing on end when he tried to fix it." She had to laugh a little at the memory of her dad's hair like that. Thankfully he hadn't been really hurt as much as shocked... Literally.
