"Honestly, I don't drink that much either," she assured him. She was only a junior, so she didn't feel too bad about the fact that she only drank at the occasional house party like this. Of course, that meant she was a light weight, so it was easy for her to catch up to the surrounding teenage drunken populous. She didn't mind being a cheap date if it meant she only had to take three shots.
Another giggle escaped. "The last time I did, I started dancing on someone's coffee table." On the plus side, Mia wasn't a horrible dancer, so the embarrassment was more the fact that she'd danced at all than the awful dancing. "I'm hoping to avoid the show today." She eyed his empty beer. "You should get another one. Ohh! Or take a shot!"
