Who: Cait and David
What: surprise visit!
When: this weekend, Friday night, maybe
Where: Pearson's Pub
Okay. So Cait wasn't really sure how to have a boyfriend, or even how to date someone without getting freaked out about it. She didn't even know if her and David were dating officially. They'd gone on a date, sure. They'd had sex a few times. They flirted and joked and were clearly attracted to one another. But there was still that awkward feeling of not knowing what she was or what she could and couldn't do and she didn't like it.
She wasn't going to do anything about it though. She wasn't going to text him and ask him what they were. She wasn't going to bring it up. No. He could bring it up. He was the man. Cait wasn't old fashioned by any means, but she hated to look stupid. And asking David if they were going steady would definitely make her look stupid.
That didn't mean she couldn't see him, though. She might be unsure what they are, but she couldn't deny that she thought about him a lot and liked hanging out with him. Tonight, particularly, she couldn't get him out of her mind. Which was perfect, because she was thirsty and it was a big Pub night.
Throwing a jacket over her sweater, she headed out the door. It didn't take her long to get there. She lived relatively nearby (convenient) and walked fast. She was pleased to see the bar was packed, just the way she liked it. Giving a smile to the bouncer, she passed through the doors and sidled straight up to the counter. There were no free seats, but that was okay. She could stand and wait.
