Evan felt her words and the wood slam into him. He blinked a few times and looked down at his chest where she'd just shoved him. What the...? "Are you fucking kidding me right now?" What could he do? He wasn't going to shove her back, that was for sure. He didn't believe in hitting women or violence against women, etc. Natalie could do whatever she wanted and he wouldn't touch her. His mouth was another story though.
"Why are you talking to my friends about me behind my back? You really think Luke is a good friend? He's in high school, Natalie. Come on." He should have told her to talk to David. Or Bast. But he didn't. Instead, he pulled out the slip of paper and tossed it at her feet. "I got that for one of my friends and it sure as fuck wasn't Luke." He ran a hand through his hair, then let it rest on his neck.
