Oh this was not going to be a fun conversation, it really wasn't. She had her tone on and he sure as hell had his tone on and they never got anywhere with each other when they both had a tone on.
"Antagonise you? How is me telling you and dad privately that I'm bisexual antagonising you? I was careful enough not to get caught with a guy in my room and I took the time to sit you and dad down to tell you only to be told that I was in fact going to hell." Ugh religion, more trouble than it was worth in Ethan's opinion. "I'm not sure how me being honest with my parents about my sexuality is me antagonising you and dad to the point where dad tells me to get out and he never wants to see me again."
This conversation should have been more private, but they were too far into it to just stop. It didn't help that the more worked up Ethan got the more the piece on the wall shook. Not that he'd noticed.
"Why not ignore you? You and dad seemed quite happy to do it with me when I asked you to come to my graduation, not to mention meet my friends. I guess you just forgot about that." He rubbed a hand through his hair. "I'll admit that there are two sides to this, but I don't know what else I'm supposed to do when it feels like my parents want nothing to do with me."
