Open to Ethan
Aidan wasn't wearing Converse. It was something that he felt important to make a note of; for Ethan's benefit and for no other reason, he had put his converse aside for one night and put on smart shoes. Smart black shoes that went with the black trousers and white shirt that he was wearing.
He'd tried to look good, he'd done his hair - actually spent time on it - and he'd gone through his wardrobe looking for smart-ish clothes. He arrived just after the doors opened and there were a couple of people there. He'd heard that there was an open bar too, nothing fancy, just drinks circulating for people to help themselves to. People being Ethan. It was Aidan's job to make sure that Ethan didn't drink himself into unconsciousness, and he intended to take that job very seriously tonight. The last thing Ethan needed was to be drunk and having to deal with his mom in front of other people, right?
He walked in and made a beeline for Ethan, stopping to look at a particularly interesting piece with several dimensions to it. It was great, he reached out and touched it, fingers dragging along it before he headed towards Ethan and smiled up at him. He hoped he didn't look like too much of an idiot considering he'd tried, and Ethan - as always - looked incredible.
"Hey you," he greeted. "You good? It's looking great in here. I like that one, I haven't looked at all of them yet, figured I'd check in with you first." He smiled, warm brown eyes looking up at Ethan.
