Who: Regina and Ty
What: Small banter
When: Thursday evening
Where: The Chamber Residence
Regina transformed from working class woman to home maker when she stepped foot into their abode. Beating the kids home meant that she for once would actually have to start the meal. Never one to complain, she set her items from work down and began to work on the ingredients she pulled out to thaw earlier that morning. As much as Regina loved working, she preferred to be at home in the chaos she called life. Adjusting to having hormonal teenagers who felt they were all right was something new in the sense that she learned to have a new patience that even Regina didn't know she could have.
Four turned into five and five turned into six. While dinner baked in the oven, Regina took it upon herself to shower so she wouldn't have to worry in the morning. Back into the kitchen, she sat reading a book she picked up from the library. The kids text that they would by with friends so she didn't have to wait up for dinner. Her eyes shifted from the book when she heard keys jingling from the other side of the door. Regina tried to hide the smile that slowly crept upon her face as she waited for the door to open. "I hope that whoever that is that's walking into the house has something sweet for me to snack on while dinner finishes." She closed her book shut and placed it on the counter top.
