Jen took some tea as well. She felt the need to toss in a few cubes of sugar. Something told her she was going to need the energy. After a few sips and just watching him with a grin, Jen nodded. He was here for a reason after all. "Yes, of course." She nodded in the direction of the hallway and silently instructed him to follow her. When they reached the middle of the hallway, she pointed up at the light there.
"See this?" She flicked the switch on the wall beside her, yet the light did not turn on. "It's been like this for over a year now. And it's beginning to annoy me. Nathan won't do a thing about it, and I'm much too frightened of heights to do it myself. Yet, I'd like some light in my hallway." She smiled at him and lifted her cup to her lips once more though did not drink. "Would you be a doll and fix it for me please?"
