He smiled. She had a good point. And if this hadn't been their first date, and if he didn't know what he thought he knew about Cait, he would've said something smooth like 'I was until I met you'. But he wasn't entirely sure that was true anyway. And also he didn't want to freak her out, even if it was the truth. He liked her a lot. He wanted to make this work.
"I like to keep people on their toes." He replied finally, with a small shrug. "I doubt I'm half as good as you are, but after years of being analyzed and a few semesters of intro Psych classes, I could probably give it a shot."
