Rory wasn’t really sure how to delicately put this, and that was strange considering the usual ease with which Rory manipulated language. Perhaps the hardest part of all of this was the fact that there was no hiding. There were a thousand ways to imply the words, millions of little gestures to show them, motions that Rory had gone through a thousand times for Eisen, hoping, hoping that maybe one day he’d catch on. But now, as he looked into Eisen’s eyes, he knew that there was no other way to do this than to be completely honest, completely straightforward.
… Well. Almost. His fingers wormed a little farther into Eisen’s pants as he spoke; if Rory couldn’t distract Eisen from the full force of what he was about to say, then he could at least distract him with the physical. Besides, Rory knew exactly how attracted Eisen was to him -- after all, he was making it that way -- and he could easily sense his desire, his need. Now it was Rory’s turn to deliver that, but before he did he needed to make one thing clear.
“Do you remember,” he began, pushing Eisen’s restrictive clothing away so he could gain better access to his skin, “that day I... I fell down the hill?” It was a credit to Rory’s calmness that he didn’t even flinch as he brought up the memory, although he did shiver a little as he voiced his next words. “You... carried me to my chair and took me home. Made sure I was okay.” Rory’s fingertips brushed Eisen’s thighs, massaging lightly. “I... I need you to know something.”
He was still for a moment, steeling his resolve. He leaned down, speaking softly into Eisen’s ear. “I have been madly,” his fingers found what they sought, “passionately,” his thumb ran over the tip, “desperately,” he took it carefully in his hand, “in love with you ever since that day.”
It probably would’ve been fairer to have given Eisen a chance to react, but Rory’s fear that he’d somehow ruined his chance to do this was too great, and the urge to give Eisen the same sense of bliss that he’d just received was too strong. Eisen’s reaction could wait a few minutes, right? First, Rory wanted to hear what kind of noises he could coax from him.
