Rory's eyes darted swiftly over Eisen's features as he spoke. What was going on? Eisen was clearly nervous about something; Rory could tell from his body language, and from the way he kept stopping and starting. The nervousness was hard to miss, but the look in his eyes, that was even harder to overlook. There was something... soft and sweet in those eyes. Deep, too, if Rory looked close enough. The trouble was that he didn't want to look too close, otherwise he'd be even more tempted to lean in a little further.
No! Rory chided himself, forcing himself to fight back the impulse. How many times had he had this struggle? How many times had he checked himself with logic? How many times has he looked at you like that? the seductive id of Rory's brain whispered to him. How many times her he held your hand? Rory wet his lips and slowly directed his eyes toward Eisen's, his heart skipping a beat when Eisen spoke of the conversation with Gio.
"He... mentioned it just before I left, actually," Rory returned, trying his best to sound casual. Something about being... bisexual. Like me. Rory's hand unconsciously squeezed Eisen's, trying to calm him down a little. "Is everything all right?"
