WHO: Gid and Katie (and Ori!) WHAT: Just hanging out! Also Katie is showing Gid her dress. WHERE: Gid and Ori’s! WHEN: January 31st, afternoon. RATING: Low. STATUS: Incomplete
Gideon was fully aware that it would be a battle of one step forward and two steps back for awhile. But Katie deserved to feel happy again. Guilt free. So, despite the fact that he would feel like he was going through a revolving door, he’d stick with her and try to help her find her way back. He missed the old Katie. The pre-Calvin Katie, even, who was nothing but when she walked into a room. Determination was something that, despite his weirdness, Gideon had working in his favor.
He’d called and ordered the pizza, one-third just plain cheese – Gideon was odd and didn’t like toppings on his… he got a little strange about them sometimes and had to transfer toppings from piece to piece so each one had the same amount – one third linguica like Katie had asked, and one third with pepperoni for Ori. He always had to repeat it a billion times when he told people that, but he eventually got through and ended up having to pay a little extra. Fortunately for him, his parents had just left them cash and said to ‘feed yourselves,’ so they’d be okay. He’d buy some more food on the way home from school tomorrow. Now, he just had to wait for Katie to show up or for the pizza to get here. Whichever came first.
