"Ah, Mal the hip-checker. How could I forget? She definitely would get the bat. I'm pretty sure Baines is just a bitch. But I'm pretty sure fist beats bitchy attitude any day of the week. It's at least sort of a challenge. But I think I can take 'em." Would she be telling anybody else about the names mentioned? Hell no. Sarah could be a lot of things. A liar being one of them. But she didn't lie to Nick. Even when lying would be a better alternative (like if she'd broken something of his, or something), it never actually worked. Damn that sibling bond. So strong!
Sarah was convinced that Lexie was the other daughter that Sarah's mom had always wanted. And as annoying Sarah found constant optimism and sweetness to be in some people, it was so much easier to handle with Lexie. The girl was practically her sister anyway. "He better. Otherwise the universe is out of whack." Violence wasn't something that either of them were strangers to. She was just the one to use it more often where Nick used it as a last resort more often than not. "If I'm not actually in jail when you get locked up, I'll definitely bail you out. Otherwise, I want to help. And then we can run like hell from the cops together." Hopefully get away too.
There was no bursting into flames, but Sarah could practically feel herself getting sick from all the girly stuff. "If I even try to get anything with flowers, you have permission to hit me over the head." When he said he'd kill her if she got anything too short, Sarah smirked a little. "You'd kill your own baby sister over a hemline? Really?"
