If there was one thing that Sarah liked, it was food. If there was one thing that she very much didn't like, it was shopping. Unless, of course, the shopping was for food. Sadly, this time around, the shopping was for a dress. At a store called Frou Frou, no less. It made her roll her eyes just to think about it. Though going out to eat with her brother was a sufficient distraction. And, you know, the banter and the punches didn't hurt either. If there was one person that Sarah would never mind spending time with, that was Nick. And he was entirely lucky for that, at least in her mind.
But, that afternoon, he was ticked off about something. Something involving Lexie. Now, Sarah knew that Lexie was the poster child for embracing your inner daffodility. The girl was sweet as sugar and bright as sunshine, for God sake. But that didn't mean that people should treat her badly. Who the fuck made a betting pool about when a girl's relationship was going to end? Lexie didn't deserve that, most especially when she was with a decent guy who made her happy. AJ Swafford was a douche for starting the pool, and in Sarah's mind, he deserved to have Nick beat his face in. "I won't tell anybody. But I have to ask you...when you go to kick his ass, can I help? Chuck Norris hasn't gotten much use lately."
