"How long have you known about it?" For all he knew, Amelia had been keeping it from him for a while. Calvin had revealed to be dealing with his powers for a year. A whole year. Seeing the future was something that seemed easy to hide, unlike being able to generate electricity might be, so he wondered if Amelia might have kept it from him longer, too, if she wasn't so scared she might hurt someone. Then again, Calvin wasn't as close to him as Amelia was. He'd told Katie, after all, and probably Ben and Jacen. That only made Gio wonder if Ben and Jacen had powers, too.
"Someone I know, the person who is magnetic, said she didn't have much control over her power at first, either. Random metal things would stick to her. But she worked on it and now she can, I don't know, turn it on and off at will." He didn't know if Sasha's control might go away if she got too angry, or scared, but from what he'd seen she had a very good handle on her power – at least with small things like paperclips. It suddenly occurred to him that cars were made of metal. Could she move a car with her power?
Gio poked at his remaining noodles with his chopsticks. There were only a few left, almost invisible beneath the dark broth left behind in his bowl. "I'm not sure what you could do," he admitted. "I don't have a power, but you're smart, Noodle. You'll be able to figure it out, and if I can help I will."
