It wasn’t even weird for her to look normal for once. Of course, normal meaning to her was wearing jeans, a long sleeved shirt to keep her warm, a hoodie to add warmth, and plain ol’ black sneakers; because wearing platforms in the snow would easily cause injury. And Amelia was in no mood to get whisked way to the hospital because she picked a stupid pair of shoes that day.
She was nice enough to hold back the giggle that tickled her throat when she noticed she actually surprised Gio. She wasn’t even trying to this time! To keep herself from saying anything now, Amelia bit her tongue and grabbed the menu to give it a quick look-see. She wasn’t really in the mood to experiment either this time. It was going to be the usual. When one of the free waiters came by – though not many of them worked here because of it being so small – she ordered her usual by pointing at ‘beef udon’ and sliding the menu off to the side, because knowing her, she would grab it and pretend to look at it while she was talking to Gio.
Before she could even speak about the thoughts racing through her head, she had to wait until Gio ordered what he wanted and the waiter could go about relaying their orders to the current chef that was working today, and be completely out of earshot.
