Taking long walks alone were always fun, having the time to think over all your thoughts. It was also nice to be able to walk long distances and not having someone trailing at your heels complaining. But, most of all it was relaxing, extremely relaxing. It had been a long week for Cassandra, between school and dancing, she did need time to relax, some alone time for herself. She would have done it at home, but at the moment it was far from being peaceful, something was going on and she wasn't in the mood to get in the middle of it. So after telling her parents that they were being childish, she left in search of peace and quiet, which is what she got.
Even though she wanted time for herself, she was also aiming for company later in the day. Cassandra couldn't be completely boring and spend her Saturday alone, she didn't want to be seen as anti-social. Plus, she needed somewhere to be that wasn't a house with heated discussions.
Coming back into town she was contemplating doing the walk again. She was in the mood for it, so didn't see why not. Cassie was keeping out of others ways, just passing them quickly, pretending as if she was in her own world and occasionally nodding or waving to people she liked. It was at that point a dilemma hit her, with her stomach starting to make noises. So, it was either continue walking or eat first then continue later.
She stopped, torn between both options.
