Fortunately for Gio, Glory didn't notice his almost-shivering, since she was too busy looking up at the night sky and trying to figure out what in the world was going on with everyone. Gio's next words brought her out of her little daze, however, and she she sincerely hoped that the night would cover the blush that was flooding her cheeks.
"Oh, don't be sorry." Glory almost put her hand on Gio's arm, but then thought better of it. Dietre didn't mind when she touched him, but Gio very well might. "It's... just a reflex, that's all. At my house, we get in big trouble for leaving dishes lying around. Or... anything, really. I just didn't want you to get in trouble, that's all." She ducked her head. "It's... kind of stupid, I know. Your mom's not like mine."
