[Lol I thought it was slang too when I read it in yours. XD]
Glory's brow furrowed. Nothing on the internet? That certainly seemed strange. She wondered vaguely if her sister had been the one to write the question about bending spoons with her mind, since Glory was pretty sure that she could. "Maybe we should go to the college library and see if we can find anything in the database?" she offered. She wasn't sure how much good that would do, but maybe there were academic studies done on this sort of thing. Shouldn't there be?
It was a good thing that Glory couldn't read Gio's mind, otherwise she would've lit up like a Christmas tree. And probably would've had to fight the urge to run away. Not because she didn't want Gio to hold her her hand, but she was pretty sure if that if he wanted to it might a sign of the apocalypse. As it turned out, Gio's reaction was just right.
"Are you... sure?" she asked, holding the proffered blanket a little more tightly around her. It certainly was good at fending off the cold, but she felt a little bad that Gio now had to sit on the sand. "Thanks Gio. That's really... nice of you." She smiled. "You're really nice." Fortunately for Glory, she wouldn't really realize how dumb this sounded until later that night, when she was replaying the scene in her head.
