Good. So at least they were both in the same boat, and Gio didn't seem to mind her lack of specialness. After discovering that so many people who were close to her could do strange and impossible things, it was nice to know that she still had a few friends who were... well, normal. Glory certainly wouldn't want to be plagued by the ability that Dietre was. Talk about dangerous!
"Maybe..." she responded, frowning a little. "Or maybe not. It would be hard if you didn't know that you were the one making something happen." She shivered a little, remembering how it took Dietre's having to manifest the strange creatures he saw to prove to her (and to himself) that they really were real.
"I agree. It would be really... hard to have to deal with something like that. Especially since if you didn't know what was happening or why. At least... I don't know." Glory grimaced a little as the words left her lips. There was something about that sentence - 'I don't know' - that had become... abhorrent to her lately. She wasn't really even sure why, but even saying the words, admitting that she didn't know something was almost akin to torture.
To take her mind off of it, Glory looked ahead to the beach. The water was glistening prettily under the dark sky, and she smiled at the sound of the water sloshing gently against the shore. "So where should we sit?" she asked softly.
